oh yeah true, maybe I could add a category for joke/shitpost mods which I do like to make on occasion Nah it is closer to a GX71 or HR31, just with some basic styling cues from the F31 Leopard I mean it will have a rotary yes but layout wise it will still be heavilty Celica based Also after seeing how fun the Signia is with a rotary I will likely have rotary option in all of my smaller Japanese projects, we will say in the Beamverse rotary engines were more of a success, namely in performance applications, and all major Japanese companies (and maybe some others) successfully came up with some form of rotary to use in their cars And also so high performance petrol and rotary models don't clash/make each other redundant, I will introduce some lore where "due to the rising popularity of Rotary engines in the late 60s, combined with their excessive fuel consumption and high specific output, the Japanese government decided to move rotaty powered vehicles into the more expensive '3number' tax bracket. Not everyone wanting to pay this premium, traditional piston engined performance models were offered as a cheaper alternative" yeah in the 70s they basically had some sort of rotary model in their entire lineup, even a bus lmao RX3 is nothing like a miramar lmao, closest thing may be that they both have solid axle with leaves in the rear
I wanted to see how this wire would look, so I just had to spend the day modeling this bad boi I quite like it now, compared to the old one and from the rear, still need to model taillights
updated the OP a bit, also added this boi, now that the basic shell is all there probably going to tackle the window trims and glass next (rear window is already done lol), along with other smaller body details like door handles, mirrors, fuel door ect...
"Crying sound" Finally, someone can complete the mission that Ninetynine failed to complete.(´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
im saying this will be a mikawa and sunrise 100% first off, the pictures say sunrise1, sunrise2, and sunrise3. In the Mikawa Avante, all pictures were titled Avante1, Avante2, etc. secondly, it doesnt look to be ibishu at all. if it was a skyline based car, i would guess it would get thrown under "Miramar", "Pessima", and "Pescoupe" But then when does sunrise fit? it fits right into the Mikawa brand. The R32 Skyline GT-R was a technological step forward for nissan, and the mikawa lore matches exactly that.
The existence of Sunrise has already been hinted at in Bakasan's former post. Lore in the Mikawa Avante Thread states, "The Avante even had a brief stint in motorsports, competing in various Group A touring car series with moderate success, until a certain 4WD monster came along and destroyed everything and anything on the circuits. until a certain 4WD monster came along and destroyed everything and anything on the circuits..." This statement makes it certain that the "4WD Monster" is a car modeled after the R32 Skyline GT-R. If this is the case, then 4WD Monster = Sunrise. However, this phrase makes it sound like 4WD Monster is not a Mikawa, but a car made by another company, for example, Ibishu. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that this car will be great regardless of the manufacturing company. I am looking forward to it!
reminds me of myself with how many random projects i start n then ditch, lets see if you keep all em alive or if you end up ditching most of em
