Listen, all I want is a GM New Look bus mod (Not the actual bus, the same body style) That would be so cool but no one has made a bus like that

Can't say for sure but a post on the forum here leads to me believe there is or was one available at some point.

Hi, I've found that all of the ETK engined DT40Ls aren't able to move no matter what. I've done a deep cache clean with no hope. How do I fix this, if possible?

There's not enough space for a motor on the middle axle so no, unfortunately. There's a trolleybus config with a single rear motor on the DT60L, though :).

Buses of such lengths do not exist IRL

I think he meant a hub motor style drive, like ZF's AxTrax.

With a double decker bus, you will need a door that aligns the rear staircase.

I guess i can give you my unfinished jbeam for it. Its unfinished, dimensions are meh... in general this style if bus is really badly suited to being a double decker. It maybe could work with half bottom deck, so pretty much cut the rear interior where the step up is and convert it to cargo compartments. high rear floor really doesn't work well with idea of full double decker, hard to keep it wiithin height restrictions with that. Technically it should fit within 4 meters to be able to fit under bridges, One I've made ended up being around 4.7 meters meaning it would be illegal in most of the world and wouldn't fit under a lot of bridges

Just keep in mind this thing hasn't changed what's so ever since that message you quoted which was... over 3 years ago. Holy crap the time flies :D

But if someone wants to continue the project feel free to as long as you actually put some work into it and not just slap some stuff together and release as yours

    Thank you so much mate!!
Completely agree. The dimensions are just off in general, really annoying since I want to make it as realistic as I can, but with that, it’ll probably be better to just make it fully from scratch and modify everything a lot more, which is where my knowledge unfortunately ends. Really good job on yours though, the staircase looks great!

And with the certain height, you’re absolutely bang on. I’ll measure mine to see whether I can get it close enough to look good and be realistic. Appreciate your time and cheers for the JBeam file! :D

Does anyone here know how to use the trolleybus versions properly? At times I run out of fuel in seconds and at others not, it's totally random.

    Very nice mod thank you!

DT30L and 35L are very fun to drive, feels like you can get a bit of oversteer out of them at higher speeds. :D

This, too, wouldn't fit (very easily, at least; and I'm not that good of a modeler):

Hi, could you elaborate on this, please?
The trolleybus generators run on throttle still; I will need to eventually switch them over to power demand.
Another issue is that the current generator can barely keep up with the power demand of all higher-powered (300kW+) electric motors.
Right now, you'll need to ensure that the motor is not consuming all fuel until the generator has hit its operational RPM (1000).
