has anyone thought about when we will get water sounds??? Splashing sounds, the sounds of waves on the beach, etc.

not really, we shoud have a big splash sound when the car hit the wather, like 30m from the wather

I wonder how all the current T-Series mods as well as my own will co exist with the new update.

 

I think some mods which took directly from the vanilla file will not function, or if they took valinna parts and renamed them, so they'll continu to work

 

So I should be good when it comes to renamed parts.

Do you guys think we will have new T-Series configs like a T85, T95? or for the more supersized ones T115, T125, T135 or T145

 

It would make sense because of the long boi frames

 

I wonder if one of those frames could be used for an RV or a bus. Can any of you truck people confirm if that would make sense or not?

 

well remasters completely rewrite the files and refreshes (like the ETK one in 0.28) use older files. that's why there are still some old etk configs. if the file were redone, which they probably will, it would be a remaster.

Sure. Wouldn’t really be an effective use of the platform but I’ve seen people do both. It’s more of a custom thing than something a factory would do at that point though. If you want that there’s a middle ground between the T series and the H series that would suit the application better, something the size of a GMC C6000. Would be good for rollbacks, box trucks, busses, utility trucks, service trucks, smaller dump trucks, smaller crane trucks, firetrucks… that sort of thing.

But the T series is a class 8 semi, definitely a heavier duty truck for hauling things, or any piece of equipment that weighs close to 80,000 lbs total.

 

There are companies that convert semi trucks into RV's, but it's not the right platform for the stereotypical RV.

Same for busses. Yes there have been busses on semi truck platforms, but those are the exception and not what people think of when they think of a bus. The most fitting for the T-Series would probably be a US Army Cattle trailer bus... Not really what any normal person imagined when thinking about a bus though

 

Hopefully we could see more custom parts like rear fenders, lighting, bumpers and more.
