do the engines in this pack have their own folder or something? (trying to get the shiftlogic transmission mod that works on the regular dt40l to work on the other buses in this pack)

 

How would I do this myself?(not in the form of a mod)

 

Hey, since the last BeamNG update, the DT40L has now a realistic air braking system. But only the stock engine has an air compressor, so the bus is currently not drivable with the CNG, LPG or ETK engine. Is there an update planned or do you know a workaround for that? The screenshot is taken with the city config with ETK engine.

 

I haven't used the buses in a long time, so I got to double-check. Do the other variants have the same issue?

 

Yes, every variant I tested of the DT40L which does not have the vanilla engine has the issue. But the other buses like the the DT60L does not have the issue, because BeamNG only updated the vanilla (DT40L) bus.

 

I think if the air compressor was on the body instead of under the engine, it would work again, But that would make too much sense.

I can't disengage the parking brake on the Partira for some reason. It's permanently engaged and prevents the bus from actually driving.

Weird, BeamNG must've not applied the update during the last session although I did manually update. I thought the issue persisted, which is why I made the comment here. After restarting BeamNG and my PC, the Partira works again.

 

I noticed that the Highway ETK version of the DT40L doesn't move when you try to drive it, all I did was change the 6-speed gearbox to the version with the retarder and this fixed the issue. You should update the bus model to have the gearbox with a retarder so it's drivable when unmodified.

 

Mine functions correctly. You might have an old version or some mod collision.

 

Hello Guys, will there be new Versions added into the Pack? cuz I was thinking of the Predecessor named ''DT40H''

 

Love the shape of the old ones, they were kinda narrow tho

 

The DT30L is good but could you move the rear wheels back?
Because such a long rear on such a short bus looks... Weird.
(The Circle is where I'd like the wheels to be)
