Alright so, I've created my first map in BeamNG.drive: It's based off of grid small pure, which doesn't seem to have any clouds integrated into it's scene. Is there any way to get clouds and water in? Alternatively, if the sky STILL doesn't look a e s t h e t h i c enough, is there a way to put a custom skybox in?
You can add level objects from the + icon in the white circle on the top toolbar. You can also experiment with different cloud textures. Instead of putting a skybox, you can add multiple layers of clouds to achieve a more a e s t h e t h i c sky that matches the game's graphics. Feel free to copy and experiment with the cloud textures and layers from my map Junior rock island
Uhh, alright, so I have a problem. I've got everything set up, the ground, the water, everything except for the sky. The problem is, when I add Basic Clouds to my level, the clouds don't show up, so I added individual cloud layers instead to set the scene. When all that was done, I saved the level, closed and reopened it again (to check if it saved), but when I did so, everything was there EXCEPT for the clouds, which were absent. Another thing I noted was that, upon adding the clouds, they didn't appear in the scene tree, but they were present in the map. Is there a particular way of doing this?
