Here's a tutorial on how to add custom music to my radio mod:
All that is required is a MP3 or WAV file, a cover image is optional. I recommend using Visual Studio Code or NotePad++ to edit the track table, as these support JSON syntax detection. There are two ways to add these files to the game:
1. Userfolder.

Create a folder called "art" directly in your userfolder, the folder that contains your "mods" folder. In the newly created "art" make another folder called "zeitRadio". Put your files there.
Easy to access, however files will be removed with the next cache clear
2. Mod zip.

Unpack the mod through the game: search for "Radio", and click "unpack". Then, move your files to "mods/unpacked/zeit_radio/art/zeitRadio". Repack the mod through the game by clicking on the same button used to unpack.
Files will not be removed with the next cache clear. This is the preferred method.

(both methods above require these steps)
Navigate to "settings/zeit/radio" and open "trackTable.json". Do not edit "trackTableDefault.json" inside the mod itself. This contains default songs.
Song entry format is as follows (without <> brackets):

"volCoef" is not a required attribute, however it can be used for especially quiet songs.
An entry may not support special characters and square/curly brackets. This will break things.
It is best to stick to latin characters.
A song has to be in a playlist to be available for you to play.
To change playlists (required when adding/removing songs) find a section called "playlists".

Playlists can be added or removed, as long as their ids are numbers and there is at least one playlist. There is no limit to how many playlists you can add.
Remember to check for syntax errors and save the json.

Hi, very late but I've tried adding my own songs by coding it, the json ui app doesnt work or at least i dunno how to use it, Still no songs are working (only the vanilla ones) Can you help?

Ive downloaded it and tried adding music but i keep getting and error and it keeps making this random backup folder for whatever reason..

edit: Yeah ive done a bunch of tweaking and still, I couldnt add it to a playlist and it keeps giving the same error, ill leave the mod disabled till I figure this out

Are you using the track table editor ui app? That shouldn't cause any errors.

There's no tracktable.json on mine, it's just only tracktableDeflaut.json on the folder, can you help me?

Hi,
make sure you are in the correct folder: do not unpack the mod and search in there!
When in your userfolder (where the mods folder is in) go into settings, then zeit, then radio.

Sorry, but this isn't i need help comment, It's a suggestion comment.

Could we have an option or an alternate UI app that allows both 1st and 3rd person listening? That would be great for jamming in a race with the Enhanced Chase Cam mod.

Custom music doesn’t seem to show up in the song list. All files that you see are WAV, so what did I do wrong?

You need to import them with the "Add Song" button as shown in the guide.

That helps, thanks a lot!
EDIT: Turns out I have another small problem. The songs dont seem to play when I try to. But on the default playlist, they do work. Did I miss anything again?
ANOTHER EDIT: Nevermind, the music just had to load in. Thanks alot!

When i put my music in and add the cover art, it does not show up on the GUI but it shows up on the screen for the car, and it only shows up half the time on other songs aswell. Like for some songs the cover art that goes for it shows up but the other time the art does not apper on the GUI but for the car it does And Also the play time for the music is messed up for some songs and when i go to fix it ends way quicker

Hi, I installed the mod but when I click the keybind for the assistant, nothing happens. Even when switching keybinds nothing happens. How can I fix this?
