I fixed it, I have the weight down to 2268lbs. I could do a couple tricks to get it into the 1900s, but this is probably good enough.
thank you for the reply good sir, I tried clearing cache, but I don't know which mod conflicts with the eighty-sixth materials.. and its still orange, may I kindly ask for a guidance on this ?
Wow, its awesome. The car didnt became a jelly on wheels? Try turning off all mods, then clearing the cache. Then turn on your mods one by one with check if everything is fine with ae on every mod
I did a touch of extra jbeam work, but the car is solid. I'll probably made 1 normal version and one ultra light body
Is the weight distribution still 53:47? And getting it down to 2K lbs would be the best. Also please post how you fixed it so other people can take a crack at it. I know you have to edit the node weight and beam spring/damp values but the car was always unstable whenever I changed the values. Also also fix the suspension so there's a live rear axle instead.
So happy i finally found this post again, Have had this car in beam for agesss now and would love to have an updated one! is - https://drive.usercontent.google.co...0tPW2p7BW93v-PicH7&export=download&authuser=0 still the most recent?? hotfix17.5
Awesome thankyou, when do you think it'll be ready for upload? Too many versions to choose from rn, feel like the one on page 179 with your fixes would probably be the best rn
I just did a couple of cheats really, I lightened the engine block, transmission, "welded" the doors shut, and cheated the way the rear bumper works, similar to how I did the doors. I'll upload the parts I changed. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I made an AE85 suspension too.
Hi BeamNG forums! I've currently been working on a quick hotfix 17.5.1, that will fix Bootleg's 2022 hotfix update (page 160) by adding info_ .json files for all the configurations that our belowed tofu taxi has. https://www.beamng.com/threads/toyota-ae86-trueno-levin.52119/page-160 Apparently Bootleg didn't get it done in time (They said it'll be in update 18) and I haven't seen an update since, so might aswell do it myself, this is basic file recreation and management stuff and only takes a bit of time and effort. :b I'm mainly doing this, so that you can use the mod in Career mode (specifically in RLS career overhaul) and find it on sale!. Career mode requires mods to have these info_ files for all used configs, and if they don't have those, you can't find said configs on sale ingame. Also the few configs that have the info_ files have like 3.6K value, so you would be paying 3600 dollars for a brand new car, not very accurate, if we're taking the current tofu tax into consideration lmao. So, I'm adding the missing files, and giving them values that are more realistic! That's all the changes I can make with my skills, sorry about that I will also not bother with descriptions, if someone can put those descriptions into the soon to be released info_ files, from the older updates of this mod where they still existed (IIRC), that would be cool. I might also say "dang it" and do it myself, who knows. If you're asking "Why not the newest hotfixes/updates?" Because they are imo worse than the older 17.5 Hotfix. It has its problems sure but I'm not gonna start messing with a newer version rn, maybe in the future if enough people care! Here's a snippet of the prices I've put on rn!! (for brand new cars) 85 (3A-GE) M 29000 A 32000 86 (4A-GE) M 36000 A 38000 BL 53000 Hatchback -0 Coupe -2000 Custom configs have their own prices, it would take a lot of time to go through all of them and I gotta hurry to bed, so trust me bros, they will make sense! (You can also just look at them yourself in freeroam) The mod obviously has no cargo parts, and I'm too inexperienced to work with those and add them in, but in RLS taxi mode it works great! If someone can help me add cargo boxes (and maybe potentially also fix the rear bumper exhaust JBEAM issue, and the interior lights not giving off any light), that would be very cool and swag! ^^ Thanks ya'll, I hope you have a great day/night! - Rei Speedster (Oyster) :3
Update 17.6 IS HERE! (typo 17.5.1 on last post) Now compatible with RLS career mode No need to enable "show custom .pc configurations" in the vehicle tab changelog: Changed _info *.json files, and added them for almost every config (Except for "Built On A Budget", do not ask why, it was not a mistake.) That's it lol, I'm not great at mod creation Google Drive - Rei Speedster (Oyster)
I can't edit my comments, why.... Yeah here's the direct link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ij7YJFdq8A1ej_G92u1zDjrOpUT7ggg3/view?usp=sharing
the mod is really good but what irritates me is that it takes a long time to start, and the sound of the twin cam 20 engine pisses me off, change the sounds on it, could you please fix these shortcomings?
The link didn't work, and when I tried to edit the post, I got a warning for inappropriate text? Which it doesn't have? Anyway I tried to send it as a link but so far it's been halted by mods for 2 hours, hold on I'll try again. --- Post updated --- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ij7YJFdq8A1ej_G92u1zDjrOpUT7ggg3/view?usp=sharing --- Post updated --- There we go --- Post updated --- Damn mods fix the site
Here's the kit for a lighter car. 2,300lbs. Same weight distribution. Made the 20v Silvertop engine quieter. This isn't the whole car, you have to extract the files and put them in the specified folder. Known glitch, the light body has mesh breaking issues when the welded doors get hit directly.
