That's a good question, perhaps the nodes holding the two halves together are coded the same as a node holding a bumper on? Anyways, this is awesome, and shows one of the flaws that I'd like to see fixed with Jbeams not "tearing" or "breaking" apart for certain situations. Depending on the bumper material, they should break apart, not just break off of the vehicle like a wobbly piece of thin aluminum! They kind of do disappear in spots to simulate it but there's no debris left over. Perhaps they're working on this?
Breakgroups, just like the other parts that can break, but modified to break the car in half. actually very easy to make.
@crashmaster If u wanna fix the steering wheel and pedals moving away from the car, you might wanna set your "refnodes" away from the (splitting area) since those refnodes are the X,Y,Z location of the car and splitting one of those nodes away from the origin or the other axes will mess with the geometry dimensions. If you can't find any other nodes that are arranged in a O,X,Y,Z location, I suggest u to make another set of nodes away from the splitting area and closer to the engine bay.
Yeah, i know about that, i just didnt do it yet. ive been a bit busy for the past days but ill work on that soon.
i know this is bumping an old thread but could i make a suggestion? could you add a tow hitch on the front? kinda want to recreate this
I know that this is a large bump but would it be possible to add couplers on both ends so you can attach it to the chain mod and rip it in half?
well i dint bump in but how am i supost to know. there are allot of people that alr did that so what does it matter?
ye but that post u were replying was from 2021 and the last Post was in February 2024 thats why i wrote it just as a reminder --- Post updated --- It matters cause its against the Forum Rules so ye i dont make the rules i just told u that u know it
