Update Speculation thread

Man, I didn’t even realize the grand marshal has a vinyl roof now

 

The last couple updates have had a few mods release on the same day. Not as many as usual, but we still get two or three. This mod (a skin pack) was released the same day as 0.36 (17 June 2025). This mod (a racetrack) was updated the same day as 0.35 (2 Apr 2025). 0.34 had some mods released with it, as well, such as this one (a sample button for the main menu).

I feel like having very few mods release on a day might be more of an indicator than having none at all.

There hasn't been an October update since 0.14, in 2018. Halloween would also be way too close to early-mid December (32-51 days, when the minimum post-0.24 has been 77 days). Based upon the minimum time gap post-0.24 (and the average days in the week that updates come out), the absolute latest that 0.37 would likely come out is the 25th of September. (Of course, it could come out later, but I don't think it's very likely to.)

Trash can prop?

 

I just checked the prop list, and the trash can isn't a separate thing. I'm surprised - we've had the street-cleaning Pigeon since at least 0.8 (which was around nine years ago).

Also, if Tdev's posting random images like this, then that usually means the update's really close. A couple hours before 0.34 dropped, Tdev posted this image of the Bruckell Nine (post by Cygator).

 

There's also this small teaser of the brake glow that I managed to catch from tdev as well

That's a trailer, but I do agree that it needs a remaster badly. It's odd that it hasn't gotten one yet, considering how (relatively) simple it is compared to a full car.

It would be funny if one of the trailers for 0.37 started/ended with a remastered caravan, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Whatever this guy is doing I don't want it. Anyways there is like one singular game I like on there but I really want them to move over to unity or something. That platform is a ticking time bomb

 

if the update doesnt drop tomorrow im flying to germany to personally release it

 

I really hope this is a thing soon. I want better parts selection for career mode especially the wheels because those are a pain.
