I was misled by the Eurotruck being shown off in a video, since that made me believe the truck was only a week away from being released. October 19th is a lot better than December though. Hopefully we get confirmation on what country the Eurotruck is from, in the meantime.
what do you mean with the woke stuff ? i dont care, im just paranoid about the PS5 players bc i saw too many comunities become "too successful" and pandered to the loud people ruining stuff for the rest . nothing to do with woke and im quite sure by now that the devs wont do that like i said just stupid paranoia
I'm sure all the liquor store did was diversify its election and changed to a mini mart( you can still buy liquor at a mini mart)
The community has already somewhat shifted in that direction, long before discussions of a PS5 port even came about. If you search up beamng on youtube, the results are filled with low quality, slop, targeted towards kids. 'Gatekeeping' newcomer PS5 players because you're worried about the game "pandering to loud people" is silly when you consider the community is full of loud idiots even when beam is a PC exclusive *cough* *cough* beamcord *cough* *cough*.
Absolutely. I will say, and I mean this in the most respectful way possible, can we genuinely just shut up about the “concerns” of PS5 players. Listen, I’m not a fan of washed up big companies ignoring what the fans actually want, but I will say I don’t believe we’re headed down that path. Beam isn’t exactly “underground” or “niche” anymore now that it’s been picked up by so many (Muye, Neilogical, YBR, etc.). There are millions of players around the world. Sure it’s not on the level of say, Halo or Mario, but it’s not the tiny little game it once was. Which brings me to my point: the devs don’t seem like those crappy caught up in their fame devs to me. Even with the success of beam, they listen to the community, communicate about the development process (which is something impressive to be said about modern development teams), and they genuinely seem to care about the playerbase. In guess we’ll see how the PS5 thing goes, but i have a feeling it won’t be as bad as some people seem to think. If I’m wrong, I’ll absolutely eat my words. Just giving my two cents on this.
Yeah, as someone who was around when the game was much more niche (2016-2017, ~1,000-2,000 peak players per day (compared to the 25-30K we get now)), I can say that even back then, some members of the community were...interesting and we still had all those repetitive crash compilations. Not that much has changed in the community in the 10 years since then - we don't get porn spam anymore (which is great), and many of the worst-behaving members have either mellowed out or been banned. But we'd still go bonkers for updates (especially 0.9) and were constantly asking for new vehicles and features. To be honest, the devs don't really tend to listen to the loudest members of the community, even for the simplest things. If they did, we'd have a 900cc engine for the Piccolina and probably several more modern cars (and a modern pickup truck/SUV). (And the Moonhawk would've been remastered/refreshed by now.) They tend to prioritize building vehicles around new features for their tech branch (which is where they make more money).
Nvm they’re there. Guess just a ps5 teaser, unless I missed something. They still haven’t fixed the bx drift skin being mirrored, tho
It seems to me that this choice was deliberate on the part of the devs. It is based on a real skin from a real drift car, but I don't remind which one.
they had to add a line in the configs bio addressing that cause of so many people reporting that as a bug lmaoo it's meant to be like that, common on D1 drift cars
So, I found two big scores while researching for another post: -A Moonhawk wagon/sedan was planned many years ago, and considering the track record for Gabe's ideas being implemented, I think it's fairly likely to happen when the Moonhawk gets remastered/refreshed (whenever that is). -Also, a modern SUV (and a second '60s American sedan) were sketched a while ago. The '60s sedan definitely wouldn't have been the Miramar (model revealed 11 Feb 2013) or the Bluebuck (28 Jan 2013). It looks a fair bit like an early Ford Falcon to me, so maybe it'd be the Gavril Bussard from the concept list (and the modern SUV the 2014 Roamer).
Yeah, I can definitely see that. All three of those vehicles (Falcon, Valiant, and Rambler American) were also built in Australia and other nations, so having a vehicle like that would still be quite neat. I don't think it'd happen, unfortunately. We got confirmation that the Ardente was a Cherrier about a month before it released. To be fair, that's way earlier than previous instances: -WL-40/HT-55: Three days before (loosely) -Nine: One day before -MD-Series: Eight days before -Aurata: One day before -Lansdale: Seven days before -Scintilla: Confirmed as a Civetta four months before release, name dropped eight days before release So, I think we'll get a name confirmation a week or two before release.
