Hi, I started using your mod since the vanilla tachometer has become pretty laggy recently. I don't really like changing the vanilla UI apps but I seen you had the vanilla+ style so I gave it a try. So far everything works great and I like the customization. Here are a some things I hope you can improve for the the vanilla+ gauges: 1. When hovering over the tacho, the setting gear icon always pop up whether you like it or not. This also happens when spawning a vehicle. I suggest improving this behavior since it can get annoying if you are trying click one of the interactive buttons or something. 2. I would like the ability to remove the powertrain buttons, since I rather use the dedicated powertrain control app. With that, maybe push the interior part to look closer to the edge like the vanilla one. 3. The interactive buttons are great for the lights and stuff, but sometimes the text doesn't disappear after clicking a button. 4. I like the detail when switching to an electric vehicles, it changes the fuel icon to a battery icon. Can you also change the temperature icon to the oil icon when using an air-cooled vehicle, since the gauge automatically switches to reading the oil temp, it would be a nice touch. 5. The boost gauge looks a little weird compared to the vanilla one. I don't know how to explain it, but it looks slightly over sharpened/fuzzy on the perimeter. Also, the redline doesn't fully match the vanilla one. 6. I would like to have the ABS light back on tacho like the vanilla one or at least an option to customize it.
Thanks for the suggestions! 1. It actually used to be a lot harder to trigger the setting gear icon. Although I'm not sure why you are seeing the settings cog pop-up when you are changing vehicles. It shouldn't be showing if you are in the Pause menu/Vehicle selector. I can add a setting to suppress the settings cog and a keybind to re-expose it if that works better for your case. 2. I can implement it as an option to hide the assists/drivetrain controls. But I added extras that the stock assist/drivetrain app doesn't cover, like Two-Step/Launch Control. 3. The text hints pop-up sticking around is a known issue. Will be fixed. 4. I'll see what can be done about this, because it's in the code. Air-cooled vehicles still have their coolant readings, but they are synced with the oil temps. 5. The looks in terms of the oversharpened or fuzzy look may be due to the rendering method employed for the dynamic elements. It's very different from how Vanilla gauges render, so there will be differences. I'm still working to fine-tune it. 6. I'll see what can be done about this.
Thank you so much! Also I noticed from your image that the counterweight has wider end! Thanks for this too

Hey, thanks for the report. Can you save the preset on that Vanilla mini plus and paste the share code here? I'll look into why it's happening.
Hello mate, one little thing about the Combo gauge: is it possible to limit the minimap visualization before the upper and lower lines where infos like time of day and trip computer are shown? As of now, the minimap icons cover them and make them difficult to read, see the image below. Maybe there is some options to fix the issue, but I explored a little and found nothing. Thank you and keep up the good work!
What you are seeing is the new 'Compact Mode', which is still a work in progress. I mistakenly included it in 0.1.7; it's supposed to get triggered when the widget height is below 280px to give more room to the MFD area by compressing/hiding some elements. Since its still not ready some stuff don't work correctly like the minimap icons you pointed out Totally my oversight on this; I'll get a bug fix out by Monday to stop this from happening. Consider it an early feature preview, haha
I made a new cluster in the style of the Skoda Octavia MK1 and although they are not the best but very similar. I also modified the E30 cluster. One thing could make the "hide 0 label" and "hide 0 tick" work on RPMs too?(like on the image) now its only on speed dial I think. Also with HDR the tuner and MW5 cluster are not "transparent" on the tuner it's the shift light and on the MW5 it's the needle but only when lit. Great update, thank you for everything you added for me.
Now that you mentioned it, my Combo is actually at 210px height, so it's actually working as intended. This is now a certified "It's not a bug, it's a feature" moment

The glow effect and shading with HDR is one ongoing issue that I'm still struggling with; for the meantime, I would avoid turning opacity down too much, as it would exacerbate the issue. As for expanding the hide zero number/tick, that's not a problem. I will expand it to be a general feature so it's not specific to just speed data. Thanks! I managed to isolate the cause; it will be included in the upcoming hotfix.

You can disable the sound in the Audio section of the mod settings menu (You can access it from the Pause menu or the banner on the per-widget settings. And I'm assuming you are talking about the proximity warning for unsynced BeamMP Players? If so, then you can disable that in the Multiplayer settings for proximity warnings.
Great update, maps load much faster, I also think the performance is better. Just an idea could you add a major tick but separate from the other major ticks in the middle of numbers? Like 0 is major tick then for example 3 minor ticks then the separate major tick then again the 3 minor and then the normal number major tick? ( Here is image for clarification ). Also I tried lots of fonts but most of them are not working why? They are normal TTF. Also if I remove them form the font folder they still appear in the data files even with cleared cache. Other then that no issues. And I promise I won't bother you so much anymore or if you don't mind I have more ideas but I don't want to be annoying
It's all good haha, all of your feedback has been great! I was just happened to be working on the mid-point tick marks addition haha. The feature is meant to support another IRL-inspired aftermarket gauge which will need those mid-point tick marks. They will come soon (probably not this weekend tho). As for the font issue, I tested several TTF myself when I was working on the feature, and it seems to work fine. Did you try to restart the game after adding it? Also, do you have a link to them that I can try, or can you upload them here for me to test? And for deleting a font, once you remove the file. It should show a delete button. I'll look into why it's not working.
Okay, I'll keep bothering you Maybe they don't work because I got them from some sites. I don't have those files anymore, but I found one that doesn't work for me. And the delete button is not there only disable
