Bad FPS no matter what I do!

I've had the BeamNG alpha for roughly 1 day, and I'm getting terrible fps. I've gone to the Nvidia control panel and forced my graphics card to run on beamng. Still nothing! I've tried to change my video card in the settings menu in game, and my GT650M shows up as null, while my sucky intel graphics are the only viable option! I've also activated the GPU activity display, and it looks as though the card is running, but in reality, the temperature is still at an idling level. What do you guys think? Do I just need a new computer or should I just wait for an update?

 

Read these threads I have a GT 650m and if I configure it in the Nvidia control panel it works fine. It says intel even if your using the 650m

Thanks, but I've looked through all of those threads before. Maybe its time I built my own computer!

 

You could have a lot of program's running in the backround affecting your performance. Try using something such as Razer Game Booster or even restoring your PC.
