Hi, my name is peter stuart, otherwise known as Mr.Stuart, i have my own YouTube channel, and i always wanted to play a physics based game with friends. The sad part is, BeamNG is one of my favorite games to play, so i was wondering if it would ever be possible to introduce, a multiplayer aspect into the community of BeamNG Drive. Any thoughts on this topic? Comment below, Agree? Tell me what your opinions are. If you have any Idea's for possible vehicles in future updates for BeamNG, bring your idea's to life and comment your thoughts on what you want in BeamNG Drive. I will choose the most interesting Topics/Idea's and bring them up to the developers of BeamNG Drive Sincerely, Peter Stuart. I think we've established that everyone wants multiplayer. But it won't happen, at least for a long time. Also, please search for a topic before posting a whole new thread: http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-just-read.18431/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer.17495/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer.16753/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-were-are-you-devs-are-you-reading-this.16752/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-idea-question.15607/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/once-again-multiplayer.15588/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-yes-another-of-the-thousands-of-threads-out-there.14982/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer.13638/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/adding-a-multiplayer.12518/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer.12467/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-for-beamng-drive.12375/ http://www.beamng.com/threads/multiplayer-for-beamng-drive.12373/
besides the above, I'd raise a second issue with this post. why would I go to a randomer I've never heard of from a YouTube channel that's so huge I haven't heard of it to present my ideas for beamng so he can pass them on to the developers when I can just make a suggestions post myself...
It isn't a promised feature. We were very cautious when talking about it. We said multiples times it would be awesome to have it, but the future will tell if we will have that or not. No promises.
"We will also look towards having multiplayer in the future, but it may be some time before we can create the multiplayer experience everyone is expecting. We are well aware of the demand for multiplayer and we want it just as much as you, but for the short term we are focusing on the single player career mode, various driving events, fixing bugs, and creating more content. It is feasible that we could implement local and/or same PC multiplayer in the interim. " The local multiplayer is a good start, I would like to see a split-screen deal happening. But I mean why even mention it if you don't have the confidence to pull it off? This sort of thing is the only reason a lot of people buy games these days. It's sad to think about, but in the end if it's done right, it is an absolute blast. Experiences are always best when shared.
Splitscreen would be my dream. My dad and I already love playing the multiplayer modes available at the moment.
That's maybe because you're like me. I don't like games like DayZ, and other similar games where you play online with other people just so you can lose everything to some jackass... rince wash and repeat, or the boring genre of repetitive "AAA" FPS cash grabs being mass produced.
Well, the other guy said multiplayer is becoming rare, which I disagree. However, offline multiplayer IS becoming rare (As in, local play, or even Lan gaming).
If multiplayer is introduced its not JUST going to be that mode, singleplayer will still exist forever alongside it.
Game developers should keep to a code that is same for all titles. They're trimming the "fat" more and more, and it's sad to see. The only reason I bought a console would be to introduce games to friends, eventually they would buy consoles and we could all play together. I bought 3 consoles for Destiny, I was so stoked about it, I loved the game, I loved the features, but people slowly started to get bored. Sold off the consoles now I only have one, but it makes me sad, the amount of content and features that games had back in the day don't even compare to todays. You had conkers, goldeneye, perfect dark, fighting games, racing games, they all had splitscreen, it was a staple. Seeing an empty control port was a no-no, no one cared who you were or how bad you were, you played. Last good multiplayer for nintendo was smash, then you move onto xbox, 4-player co-op/online, amazing, so many titles after that were the same. Halo CE - Reach/Halo 4. All had some form of engaging multiplayer. Halo 5, no split-screen. Halo, being a staple in the split-screen fps genre, completely dead to me now. I won't go near it, I won't own an Xbox one, nah, they can keep their bs. My computer, I ... recently bought 32 gigs of ram, and just remembered the reason why and completely forgot about it until now! CHECK THIS OUT. https://forums.dayz.com/topic/149214-how-to-play-dayz-split-screen-four-player-d/ Tonight I will see if it works with BeamNG, I have a friend who has a copy and use his. Anyways, it's expensive but I assure you guys the PC is not dead for splitscreen! --- Post updated --- Crap I just realized it's local instanced, not LAN. :'( nvm... unless... no... maybe? idk...
If you have multiple monitors I highly suggest Halo: Online. You can put one halo game on each and have some fun in ol' Halo maps via lan or even online together. check out reddit.com/r/haloonline.
stop advertising your youtube channel. Noone cares. This question has been awnsered numerous amounts of times. You're just another 13 year old looking for youtube fame. This site is not the way to go
