I am developing a mod for the Ibishu Covet and when I export my altered 3D model this weird texture issue keeps happening, what causes this and how do I fix it? I modeled a driveshaft under the car and when I export it this is how it looks, I am setting location and everything in Blender as you should and the UV mesh still lines up perfectly with the body so I am getting fairly confused at this point. I've even made a re-named version of the cars default textures and loaded them through my on materials file as well as cleared the cache each time but nothing resolved it...
Add an edge split modifier, degrees of around 50 work pretty well for official vehicles. You don't need to apply it in blender, but tick the "apply modifiers" box when you export the .dae
