When you add more update? as the truck and Pigeon?

 

When it is ready!!!!! Quit begging for the update! You don't want them to release some shoddy stuff do you? And by the way, this game is only being made by four people (not including the community)!

 

yes, because honest feedback to the devs is a terrible thing.

i'm sure they could have found a way to release content more incrementally than this. the developers are basically playing a different game at this point.

i think it's perfectly reasonable for the community to suggest that updates in the future be released in smaller stages - and topics like this are one way of doing that.

 

Well the Devs know this, but they also said the next update will be smaller due Steam and some other aspects.
and if you followed the Dev Blog you will notice that they had to rewrite everything. Not easy to fix the upcoming problems^^

 

I agree that this update has taken entirely too long, but it's hard to stop fixing stuff once you've added so much. They changed so much that it isn't ready. Maybe they'll change less at a time in later updates.

Coding is difficult... For a game of this scope and only two coders in the team it's come quite a long way.

The point is, they are working their asses off for this next update. So everybody quit QQ-ing!!

 

This is probably why they didnt want to release the game in the stage that it is, because people will keep bugging the devs to hurry up, or ask them dumb questions like this one. THE GAME IS IN EARLY ALPHA. Dont expect updates every 2 weeks.

I don't think anyone is expecting that.

It's nearly been half a year, man.

 

TWO CODERS there, now do you guys get it, there are 2 people coding, thats it, if you can make a game like this, with ONLY 2 people to code, and 2 people to design vehicles and terrains, and release huge updates like the race update faster then them, without tons of bugs (only a few rare ones, and even fewer common ones, as it's impossible to be bug free) then, and ONLY, then, will your statement has SOME, legitimacy

 

You don't have to get so riled up every time someone says someone slightly incorrect or negative about the game. I've just stopped being so excited for the update. I'm even really immediately looking up at the banner or the blog posts anymore because something tells me this update is still a long way out.

 

You don't get it. My statement was validated when the devs apologized for the update taking so long. You and I both know that the devs intended the update to be released earlier, because they've said so, and they said they plan on a quicker release schedule in the future. I have no problem waiting for quality, but that's not the issue and you're missing the point. Keep in mind, someone can think that the devs are doing a great job and working their asses off while at the same time think the release schedule should be a bit more frequent.

So basically, unknot your panties, this isn't an attack at the devs, there are no bullets for you to jump in front of.

Oh and by the way, a more frequent release schedule doesn't mean the devs implementing features faster, it means showing us the features already implemented sooner. So instead of one big update, there'd be more small updates. Can you understand that?

 

you know what, i don't even know what to say anymore, if you people are going to act as if it's taking to long (when its NOT, i honestly expected it to take this long, possibly even longer, as 2 coder's, and a bunch of new features (meaning a bunch of new bugs as well)) then i'm not even going to argue, don't bother replying, not opening this thread again

 

If you compare these guys to the updates over at Mojang, they're doing pretty damn well.
