Announcing the Road America Grand Prix: Hotlapping Competition!

I first posted this competition idea on Reddit: https://redd.it/8m8pcz, and I'm posting it here on the forums as well so hopefully more people can see it!

A high-downforce standing-start sprint for two laps around the hazardous and high-speed Road Atlanta track! Featuring the well-known FR17/FR18 mod based on the 2017/2018 Formula 1 cars and the high-quality Road Atlanta mod modeled after the real-life circuit in Georgia!

Premise: Achieve the fastest time for 2 laps from a standing start around the Road Atlanta circuit using a FR17/18 car.

You will need these two mods to participate in this hotlapping competition:

- FR17 (2018 update)
- Road Atlanta - LIDAR Edition

Please use the latest versions available.

To time your laps, use the Time Trial mode with these settings:

- Map: Road Atlanta
- Layout: Road Atlanta
- Reverse: No
- Rolling Start: No
- Laps: 2
- Time: (any of your choosing)

The vehicle must be a FR17 or a FR18 vehicle from the FR17 mod, unmodified and as-is when spawned in.

Submission: Record either a video or a replay of your Time Trial event and post them in this thread or on Reddit by next Saturday night, June 2nd. Videos are preferred as replays are prone to bugs, but both are accepted.

Regulations:

- You must obey track limits on your Time Trial. Keep at least two wheels whithin the bounding lines of the track.
- Realistic and Arcade gearbox modes are both allowed.
- You may use the traction control built in to the cars. No ABS is allowed, as the cars do not come with ABS.

Many people expressed interest in the [last hotlapping competition](https://redd.it/8cu4y6), and now that it has been a while, I thought that another one was due! Hopefully people are still interested in such racing competitions in BeamNG. This time around, I think the car and track combination are a little more exciting and the times will vary a lot with the standing start and the two laps. The car is very fast but has too much torque for its own good! Road Atlanta has a lot of high speed corners that can be abused with the car's downforce. Please ask any questions in these comments, and hopefully we can get some entries!
