1676: Both Providence and Rehoboth get a massive upgrade (with more homes, roads, and commercial), and one of the new areas from the upgrade was Swansea (which later became it's own city).

Also, thanks to the major upgrade and Revision, the population reached a whopping 379. This upgrade helped Rehoboth become much more successful.
(JPBNG, I will be fine with pictures as long as you still describe what happened that year)

1679: The different streets are named, the two most prominent being Winthrop Street and Bay Street.
John Hyde nearly is killed in a carriage accident, and his leg is amputated. He later writes a book about his life as a cripple.
Lord Crestwood decides to establish his own settlement, Sabin Pond, about 1 mile outside of Rehoboth. It has a population of 26.

1680: One of the new areas gets a name as well - Seekonk (which also became it's own city way in the future).
The population also now increased even more to 455, thanks to the plentiful amount of completed houses in this major upgrade. Lastly, the city builds a few agricultural farms as to add more to their food supply.

1681: Joseph Peck dies of a seizure, though nobody knew how it happened at the time.
Seekonk and Swansea also get their own motel and newspaper stations, which helped increase tourism.
Lastly, Reheboth's population is now at 482 (a few of the 27 moved from Providence to Rehoboth).

The city also built another amount of roads, one of them being "Adam Street".

1706: Not much changed, although Seekonk opened the city's first "supermarket", which was a cool and contributive idea for them at the time. Population later reached 600 by that time.

Supermarkets spread throughout the country like wildfire, and soon every town from Boston to Georgia has one.
Meanwhile word spreads about the invention of the steam engine, but it is dismissed as a fake story.

1713: Rehoboth has become a financial and population center in the Northern Colonies, with a population of nearly 5,000. Construction starts on a tower known as "The Tower of Babel". Although the Babel Tower is tiny compared to the modern skyscrapers surrounding it, it was an ambitious goal at the time.

    1716:
A worker is killed in the construction of the Babel, causing public opinion of the tower to drop.
Meanwhile, Rehoboth now has a proper downtown, with a church directly across from the library, with the construction site a little outside. The downtown area, now a historic site, is located a kilometer or so from the modern downtown.
