Wait, since you can create code add/remove things in the map while in play, couldn't you have switches triggered by a single node that swings out from the train, "hits" a trigger and "moves" the switch, with the switch's moving rails being separate objects that are shifted when a certain trigger is activated. (this is just a general thing, not really directed at zagdima)
That would be a lot more complicated than just make the swich a vehicle and trigger a hydrox with a lua scrip atached to the turning signals
