Point and Squirt!

  1. Been a while...

    Daaxoo
...but due to many epiphanies I had in car design since my last update on this beauty, here's another one! :)

Completely new engine, a V10, with slightly more power and less displacement then the old V8, but more weight on the rear axle for even more stability and controllability. Lower tire profiles, a new hydropneumatic suspension, with more give to it, allowing more rear grip during acceleration without bottoming out, reworked brake balance, and rebalanced aero settings. A dual-clutch...
  2. Ok I lied... not the final form yet :P

Turns out there is more performance to be squeezed out of this baby, after all!

Now with a 8400ccm engine, breaking 1700hp. Front pushrod suspension, full vented/carbon brakes, for superior braking performance. Weight balance remains the same, handling remains the same, but better top speed and acceleration.

    Enjoy!

  3. Final Form

    Daaxoo
Now with almost 1700 horsepower! Weight shifted a couple more 0,1 percentages to the rear, handling remains the same. Better top end, better acceleration. This will be the final version.

    Enjoy!

  4. Refinements...

    Daaxoo
Bigger wheels, slightly higher tire profiles, for that extra touch of comfort, and soaking up bumps. Suspension downgraded from Air to Progressive, which saved 50 kilos, dropping the weight of the car below 2 tons, and shifted the weight bias even more rearward, for even better traction. Rear tires width increased from 320 to 330. Ride height raised slightly, rear springs tightened slightly. Gear ratios shortened slightly, especially the 1st one. Better low-rpm acceleration, while still...
  5. More powahhh! And surprisingly enough, better handling, too!

    Daaxoo
Now with a 1,520hp, 8200ccm engine! Rear overhang lenghtened, to accomodate the bigger engine and shift the weight bias even further toward the rear. Rear aero slightly reduced. Acceleration, top speed, AND handling, improved!

    Enjoy.
