The 1948 PMI Puma Grand Sport 28 was an early PMI Puma sidestep from light sports cars into the production of a beautifully styled long distance tourer. The shell was designed by the famous Italian designer Pininfaretti, the chassis and engine were PMI Puma UK made.
The twin-carburated cast iron OHC inline-6 has a capacity of 2804cc (82.0 mm x 88.5 mm) and produced 130 horsepower back in the day. Top speed was 185 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 happened in about 10 seconds.
The car was a tourer and while stable at high speed, the old suspension and chassis get snappy went pushed to the limits, so beware of oversteer.
