Thank you guys for over 500 Downloads! It really means a lot to me and warms my heart that people all over the world are driving this car around in beamng.
As a child I always wanted the car to be featured in a video game, especially in Forza. Ever since Forza Horizon 2 in 2014 Iven been longing for an update, car pack, or new game to finally feature this car in its list, but that pipe dream never came.. and probably never will for a long time.
My dad owned a Red 1963 1/2 500 XL 427 clone (Originally z code 390) since I was a wee little youngin He finished building it when I was about 3 or 4 years old. To me the car was always like lightning McQueen (I'm gonna have to make a lightning McQueen NASCAR Livery for it now lol) A lot of fond memories with this car.
There was one car show in particular that we went to every year. It shall remain nameless. But back 10 years ago it took place in a big field. it was held it was always nice outside. I remember laying on a towel next to the car on the grass, I would have my free Chevrolet sun glasses on I just got 5 minutes ago on my face. There was a ton of other classic cars and rat rods around. Of course being a child I secretly thought they were a bit cooler than my dads car.. But I knew very well that adults thought differently and I was not allowed to peep a word.. After all I knew I diddnt know. Absolutely nothing beats the nostalgia of riding in the back of a 63 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL with a 427 ci Ford FE a 9" clickity clackity Detroit locker in the back and American torque thrusts on rubber being your only physical contact with the road.. while driving home from an organized post-car-show cruise at night.
