Introducing the 1973 Ibishu Signia/BX, Ibishu's mid 70's sports coupe

The Signia kicked off in 1973 with 5 JDM trims under the Signia insignia, and 2 export trims under the BX insignia. The only engines available at this time were the C16 I4 worldwide and the C20 and T20R I6's available in Japan only for the GT trims. Then in 1974 after seeing the initial success, more engines were introduced such as the C24 export I6 and the Y12 Rotary as well as many more trims and upgraded versions of previous trims. Along with this upgrade saw the introduction of fuel injection and a catalytic converter for Ibishu IEFS as well as bigger regulation 5mph bumpers for USDM models. Ibishu produced many more generations of Signia/BX including the 200BX we know and love and the Signia from KLJP.

I feel like i'm on the same level as gamingthrou. I've never really been a fan of paid mods either, mods like the Cherrier Picnic opened me up to these kinds of paid mods.

And i must say, having a demo to show the quality of these mods and why you should buy them is just a great marketing tactic.

Its defiantly worked. I'm going to buy this.

To be frank, I've never been a fan of paid mods... but this? This is something else.

I bought it expecting some extra parts and a few nice configs, maybe I'll even drive it for a few minutes before moving on something else... I was blatantly wrong.

Right from the get-go, I noticed that this wasn't just another small-fry mod... this is a passion project lead by a talented individual.

Every aspect of this mod had an incredible level of detail and attention, far more than anything I could've expected... even for a paid mod.

The physics are very fun predictable. The design is beautifully timeless. And the lore... gosh the lore.

The lore on this thing is even richer than many of the base cars in BeamNG! There's lore everywhere, literally everywhere. Everything from the JDM/USDM nuances to the real-life references just scream with detail and care. It feels like a real car... like it actually existed.

I'm still not a fan of paid mods, but gosh, if every paid mod had this level of detail to them... I might seriously reconsider my thoughts.

If you're reading this with a few bucks to spare, this might just be the best $3.78 you'll ever spend. Period.

Pretty well done car, I love it, I wish I could buy it. Congratulations for such an amazingly well done job. You should get a job as a BeamNG developer!

This is a great mod, with lots of Options and many many configurations. You can really delve into it to make it your own Signia. The car features amazing sound and realistic, learnable and after some time behind the wheel mostly predictable handling. The Power and Handling is widely adjustable so anyone can feel right at home whether he is an entry level player with a controller or an experienced driver with a steering wheel, pedal set and shifter.

Some parts in the configurator are a bit confusing at first with the multiple fender and flare options for example as well as the rear suspension having two different configuration ways to get a race suspension. The suspension needs a little tweaking out of the box but with so many completely different handling cars that is most reasonable.

    Critique:

-Although the overall level of parts and options available is really great, there are some small additions missing for no apparent reason except they have just been forgotten. For example: Body colored mirrors instead of just having chrome and plastic-black ones.

    - I found it a bit sad, that to an extend not all skins are modifieable as I love the SR-Skin but it is only available in Silver-Black-Red as the color changing does nothing to the outside.

-Some small Issues like the Steering Wheel Padding remaining stationary for some steering wheel options, me being unable to get the vinyl roof visible and the lettering in the interior not being connected and thus switched accordingly to the side you are sitting on results in lettering colliding with the gauges when the lettering is from a JDM model but you decide to convert it to LHD and the other way around.

I hope this review is understandable and I was able to sum up my thoughts in a constructive manner!

Very nice! Even the force feedback works very well, a sign that the base design of the cars is very good.
