The Imperial is definitely a car to be remembered, why? It's simple, it's a death trap. The fuel tank placement was so bad people called it "the Ford Pinto's brother". The Imperial was produced from 1979 to 1985, in that time it successfully killed 6 people and a ferret. Ultimately it was a huge loss for MDM Motors. They even had all of their American factories shut down for 2 weeks because of lawsuits against the victims families.
