A 1JZ swapped Moonhawk, based loosely on the car from "tokyo drift"

    The 1jz swapped moonhawk, dubbed the 1jz hawk!

    This is sporting a 1jz engine, delivering power somewhere in the range of 180 hp. and 220 ft-lb of torque. It also revs to 7400 rpm, but limits to 7200rpms. This is a pretty fast car, not quite as quick as a v8, however much more efficient for mpg!


    Also before anyone gets angry, yes I know this isn't the same engine used in the film. It is an engine I enjoy, and I wanted something JDM. Much like Liberty Walk does, American JDM twist!

    Very inadequate power, poor sound, all in all just not so good. Sorry but the power figures, as TheRustyRagdoll pointed out, are for the N/A, 1JZ-GE. The turbo variant, the 1JZ-GTE, made "276"hp, but really it was more like 290hp.

      Well when I dyno'd this engine, it was making around 270hp with the twin turbos

    You should really rewrite the overview, Other than the specs. The engine used in the movie was an RB26, not a 1JZ so why put "Tokyo drift based". Just take it out and just leave it as a 1JZ swap save your self the headache

    Try actually creating a sound mod. Rather than using the 4cylinder fartcan sound. Terrible. Does not resemble a 1jz in the slightest.

    Why so little power?
    It's unrealistic af. Unless it's the 1JZ-GE (that's N/A).
    Also, why is the Moonhawk riced?

      Um no, it is 1of gte with twin turbos. So it makes adequate power. The land barge is just to heavy
