An authentic, 3.0L Diesel sound for the van to make it sound more...diesely? Yeah.

    5/5,

Finally a good H-Series sound. Besides fitting incredibly well, it doesn't have any clicks on the sample and it's well blended on the Sbeam.
    Well done sir.

One thing tho, make it rattle more at it sounds a bit too good for the H Series...

Many thanks :D. I've been sound modding with FMOD system for a while so I'm fairly good at getting the blends sorted, the hard thing at times is the sample loops. They require sometimes painstaking fiddling getting a tiny amount of "fade" both at the start/finish to get them blended right. Getting there.

With regards to the rattle, again the 3.0L engine is quite "new", the only way i can make it rattle is to remove oil from the engine (mate wouldn't be happy with that haha!) or do it artificially. I assume by rattle you mean a more "old diesel" clattery sound found it 1999-2004 2.5L transit diesels for example?

I'll give it a go for the the 1.2 version by adding it artificially, i have a diesel "click" sound thay mayyy blend with the samples but will have to see if it works. Will update when i get a chance with more video demos :).

Nice! could maybe use a little EQ to bring out the rattle.
I'd love to hear what you come up with for the transit, although I'd suggest sampling the older smiley ones if you want the biggest racket ahaha.

Thanks :). As for rattle, the 3.0L sound from the Hilux I obtained is a relatively new engine well maintained, the interior sound is pretty quiet and this exterior sound I've used has actually been enhanced to make it stronger on the "treble". I can try perhaps reducing the bass even more, adding more treble and even adding some artificial clatter but that might make the character of this particular engine sound a little off.

As for the transit, that's the plan! The 04-09 is ready to go as I have a 2003 model that was actually registered in 2004 that's a smiley...yeah i know, License plate fun! It's the second facelift version with a 2.5L so the plan is to try and get as good a sample from it as possible :).

I'll update this with a slightly tweaked version for more clarity and record better video lol.
