I have created a forum post, feel free to take a look, if you want to report an issue(s) with any of my mod(s) feel free to leave a message on that forum post, if you want to make a suggestion and/or give some useful ideas, you can also use this forum post as well.
However, the forum post is rarely used, if you want you can just send me a PM here on BeamNG, or you can send me a DM on Discord, whatever floats your boat.

In order to access the transmissions, press on CTRL + W to open the vehicle configuration menu, navigate to the parts tab, extend the frame, find engine and expand the engine category, once you found the transmission tab you can freely select whatever type of Allison transmission you want to choose.

If for whatever reason that you are having a rough time finding the transmission category, just simple use the same method of using CTRL + W to open the vehicle configuration menu, go to the search bar and type in "transmission"

Hello there!
This is my first transmission mod for BeamNG, this mod is still in a W.I.P. state, the mod may not be perfect, but over time I will keep improving things on this mod.
Please know that there are no custom transmission models, I don't have enough experience to model the transmissions myself, all I am capable of is editing code and try to get as close to the real transmissions.
Back then I made a similar mod to this one, it was an Allison Transmission mod, but for American Truck Simulator.
And so, I wanted to make something similar to that mod, so I made an Allison Transmission pack for BeamNG!
Here is a little backstory on this mod.
So, I was doing a little searching around on the T-Series semi, and I noticed that it only has 2 transmission options to choose from, all you had was a 10-speed manual (5 speed ranged) and a 5-speed automatic transmission, so I wanted to give it some more transmission options to choose from and overtime I started supporting more vehicles.
From which is why this mod exists.

Vehicles supported by mod:
Gavril H-Series Van
Gavril T-Series Semi
Gavril MD-Series
Gavril D-Series Pickup (& Roamer)
Ibishu Hopper
Wentward Bus
Gunner Patriot / Claymore
Nissan Terrano WD21
Gavril B-Series Offroad Semi (will be getting an adjustment on v2.6)
1992-1996 Ford Bronco (was supported on v2.5)
---
Please note, some of these transmissions are supposed to have more than one reverse gear ratio, like for example having 2 reverse gear ratios, however due to some limitations I was unable to make that truly happen, if any modder out there is willing to help me make this mod to have a proper multi-reverse gear ratio that actually functions without needing the use of having a hi/lo rangebox, then feel free to shoot me a PM here on the BeamNG website or DM via Discord > 0xferd
Here is a (very) detailed list of the transmission info.
Please know that the details listed below may or may not be accurate when using any of these transmissions in BeamNG, the mod is not perfect, if there are any issues, just report it to me in my PM's here on BeamNG website, or you can contact me via Discord > 0xferd
I also have a support channel where you can submit tickets on my Discord Server.

This transmission uses a non-locking stall torque converter.
That means it has no specified value for the max torque rating, what gear it locks up on and the minimum rpm that it would normally lock up on.
But there are details about the torque converter specs, such as.

Please keep in mind that there are multiple factors that will affect your vehicle's top speed.
This includes the following.
Maximum engine RPM
Transmission last gear ratio
Transfer case ratio
Differential ratio
The size of the wheels on the vehicle (like either in inches or diameter)

For the T-Series and Citybus they have their own separate torque converters with different specs for each transmission series, for the D-series, Roamer and Van, they have their own torque converters as an option, but you have the ability to use different torque converters as well, either it be the base game ones, or modded ones.
Please note this is not a final version of the mod, some things within the mod will have to be adjusted over time, if you have any issues, feel free to let me know, if you want to help me by tagging along to make this mod be as realistic as possible, then let me know, and I will gladly credit you for helping out.

If an author has a problem with me making my own mod compatible with their mods, please contact me on my BeamNG PM's and/or Discord DM's.
I'd be willing to make things work out as planned.

Upcoming mods to support:
With v3.0 of the Allison Transmission mod
The Wentward S3 has been added but will become available once the update is released / approved.
Upcoming fixes and/or updates with the mod:
Update v3.0 is coming soon, v3.0 will be available once it gets approved.
Only changes that were made with v3.0 is that the transmissions will now have "0xferd" listed on them so that way there will not be a duplication issue when using multiple mods that have similar transmission names.

There may be other mods out there on the REPO that may be compatible with this mod, however for the T-Series and Citybus, the torque converters are separate and have their own slot type names.
For modders who want to support my custom slot type names.
Here are the available slot types.
