Alpha ACP - Angelov's Customizable Powertrains 0.8

Customizable engines with realistic consequences to modifications.

  1. Update 0.7: Civetta Bolide & Vivace - Cherrier, Tograc, Ardente

    Angelov.1080
Update 0.7: Civetta Bolide & Vivace Family

    Vehicle & Visuals

    Civetta Bolide
The Bolide has full vehicle integration now, complete with support for all ACP engine families. It gets 4 visual engine models across the V6 and V8 platforms. V6 options are V6 Stock Intake, V6 Sport Intake, and V6 Supercharged. V8 options are V8 Stock Intake and V8 No Intake (designed to be paired with turbo manifolds, since the manifolds spawn the actual turbocharger flexbodies and models). The supercharged variant features working pulley systems that spin dynamically with engine RPM.

As usual, exhaust manifolds are modular and detached from the engine model, so you can mix and match as you please, you can run a V6 manifold on a V8 model or vice versa. Options include V6 exhaust manifold, V8 exhaust manifold, and V8 turbocharger manifolds. Note: The V6 header is sourced from the Gambler 500. The exhaust mufflers are mispositioned on the normal bodies, but I kept it that way just to give some flexibility.

Important Compatibility Note: The 6-wheel body is NOT supported, and none of the Gambler 500 body types will be supported in the near future due to their custom code and drivetrains causing issues. Making them compatible with ACP would require a ton of one-off work to get them working right.

Vivace - Cherrier, Tograc & Ardente
Added three additional new vehicles with full ACP integration
Vivace Cherrier, Vivace Tograc and the recent Vivace Ardente, each with 3 engine models: I4 Turbo, I5 Turbo, and I3 Turbo.

    Turbo & Supercharger Changes
    • Diesel Turbo Rework: Reworked diesel single and compound turbocharger boost curves and efficiency, making them even less efficient and more restrictive at higher engine RPM.
    • New Turbo Exhaust Housing: Added a new turbo exhaust housing and tweaked backpressure on all others to make the progression more linear.
    • Stock Turbo Parts Reconfigured: Turbos now include an intercooler by default, and the stock intercooler torque penalty has been slightly decreased. (Of course, you can still remove it if you wish.)
    • Supercharger Sounds: Minor update to supercharger audio: volumes +1, +2, and +3 are now available for all styles (roots, screw, and centrifugal).

    Other Changes
    • Rotational Mass: Flywheels are gone, replaced by Rotational Mass. Same principle and underlying parts, just better naming. This has been backported to other cars as well!
    • Cleanup: Minor naming fixes and jbeam file cleanup.
Final Note - While I did try to test all the different combinations across all the vehicles there may still be some bugs with the exhausts as the Vivace cars share an engine but don't necessarily share an exhaust directly as that's part of the body on these cars similar to the old Pessima, thus I had to get creative with the JBeams to make them work, if you see smoke or fire coming out of the wrong places ( Or see that the engine temperature is broken ) in some weird combination of parts, let me know!

As always, any feedback and bug reports are welcome. Have fun!
