Experimental Arcade-Simulator Style Nitrous Boost 1.5.1

You press a button, exhaust goes explod and you go slightly faster.

You must bind the key yourself! The binding is located directly under "Clutch" in the Vehicle category:

Small preview of how it looks in orbit cam:

This was originally made after I found out you can access postfx effects through the world editor (meaning you also can through just lua code).

This mod should be compatible with any mod as long as said mod has a correctly done exhaust setup (look if it has exhaust particles), and follows vanilla wheel naming (FR, FL, RR, RL, RR1, RL1, ...).
That being said I am not giving any guarantees of it working on all vehicles.

didn't see the setting app, it's a really usefull addition! do you think it would be possible to add a button to minimize the setting window when we are satisfied of the result, and if yes was that already an idea of yours?

anyway, that's real good work, mate ;)

The exhaust flame uses the exhaust end nodes and the next-to-last nodes. If these nodes are not placed in a way that works best with the mod, it is not an issue I can change as the node positions vary from vehicle to vehicle and I'd like to keep it compatible with as many vehicle mods as possible out-of-the-box.
      In other words:
I literally cannot fix this. It's just how it is. Thank you for your review.

This is a pretty cool idea! I really love it. Although the flames don't show on any car.

That's not something I can fix. Like I said, it works on all vehicles that (this is the easiest way for you to check) have exhaust particles/a correctly done exhaust setup to current standards.
If a mod does not have this, I cannot change that.

I LOVE IT. But it keeps turning itself off. Any way to just keep it on?

No, that's the cooldown that's in there on purpose to keep you from using it permanently.

Amazing mod. I actually found out it is colorable if you use the colored backfire mods. Great job!
