Very nice, I enjoy it, the jbeam in my opinion is high quality, it's squareness makes it perfect for screenshots in older times.

A solid 7/10. I'm really enjoying this mod. the first crash I did was a side impact on the passenger side door and I was not disappointed with the crash performance of this mod! really good crashing. great modelling. the tail lights look a little strange since they're just smaller ETK-I tail lights but thats my opinion. great factory configs, everything looks legit. I'm not at all an expert but personally everything looked awesome. my only problem with this mod is the lack of freedom is customization. I understand you may not want to add anything more and that's fine but I would suggest to make this more fun for everyone maybe adding more features and parts like AWD, Diesel engine, Bigger engines (V6 or I6 most likely), a spoiler option, paint jobs. Just little things that would make this mod heaps more enjoyable but you're the creator. I'm happy you made this mod anyway. fantastic work! :)

- 4/5,
This is a good mod i'd say. It drives like one would expect and crashes without any noticable spikes. Pretty much a Textbook vehicle mod, though nothing unusual in terms of features, which isn't a bad thing.
The new update certainly helped this mod a lot, though there still is room for improvements. some of the things i will list may be smaller details, they're part of the mod neverthe less.
Lets start off with the console, it is clean apart from a bunch of flexbody errors, which i suppose are still unfinished features? The part selector system also has a few "flaws", like the hood slot having a sub-part but at the same time... not having one. Above that, installing the AWD drivetrain layout can be a bit confusing as the driveshafts arent a default part of the differentials (the ones I installed at least), the rear axle also has no drivestaft/differential models.
The stage 3 turbo also appears to not have an intercooler, so the turbo kinda just has an open hole in it. The engine also detonates with max upgrades (and stage 2 engine block).
I also fail to see a difference in the EU and US taillights, the console also specifies not being able to find the US taillight mesh.
I am also not sure why the engine seemingly has no gearbox, the halfshafts are connected straight to the engine block from what I could see. Overall I feel like it still lacks some customization, however you can certainly have your fun with what's already there.
All in all a fun hatch that's certainly a nice addition to the game :3
Looking forward to future updates! -

Lovely mod. I've been hoping for some kind of proper Golf for long, and I especially love the name! Leave it to ETK, becuase, for everyone: "ETK A" = ETKA = Volkswagen Teilekatalog. Love this joke!
Keep updates coming, I'd love to see much more! Maybe a VR6 kind of engine for a swap in the future? I'd be super happy.-
Author's Response
swaps are planned for later, i would like to finish the base configs first

Very well done mod, however I think it'd be better for it to have it's own brand based on VW
