Man, this mod is just perfect! But at first (with taillights after facelift and headlights before it) I took it for golf 2 (and they are similar, to be honest). As an idea: in the next update, make coupe bodie like the Jetta MK2, and more tuning options (well, there's digifiz, headlights from Jetta, tinted taillights, a blend between them, idk). the mod is already good, but it will get even better this way. The car is wonderful. It was one of my first cars in real life. Mine had a foldable rooftop. This is the only thing missing.

Very fun vehicle to drive, reminds me of one of those old Volkswagon hatchbacks!
I did a small crash test using it and the results surprise me:
Small overlap at 62 MPH.
On impact, both the driver and passenger were held in place, but upon the force hitting the passenger compartment, the dashboard flew into the driver causing serious injuries and perhaps death.
The passenger was centimeters away from hitting the dashboard, but the seatbelt kept the passenger inplace, although the seat did push forward.
I'd give the vehicle a marginal rating.
Holds up in a side collision though!
Once again, really fun car to drive!

this has a carbon copy of my first and second polo! talk about time travel, really brought back some memories. Fantastic love it.

Great mod. No missing textures, accurate jbeam, and cool configs (especially the rally variants). This car is also an absolute tank. It's amazing how much abuse it can take and continue driving (though maybe not in a straight line). My one and only recommendation is to add your own wheels. Otherwise, one of my favorite mods!

one problem i have noticed however, the pre-facelift lights seem to have their bloom off-centre, and can be seen as such when looking at it correctly.

Incredible mod, but I do need to say the braking is extremely hard and on a driving rig, even the slightest push of the brake pedal will lock the brakes up. I was hoping there's a fix for this? On keyboard as well, you can really feel it lock up much quicker than most vehicles. I do love the mod though, 5/5!
