  1. AX53
    AX53 Pessima Pack
The successor to the "D1 JDM Pessima"

    Progress thread

Please read this (really, read it):
The mod is not finished. I'm not releasing it as a beta test. I'm releasing it to releave myself of pressure from holding onto it for myself.

My new modding philosophy is to release more frequently when I work on something, whether or not it's polished. And I will try to ignore criticism and actually have fun modding.
I would appreciate it if you simply use the mod if you like it,
or don't use it if you don't like it. Instead of pointing out faults in it.

    Onto the mod
The mod contains several body variants.

    LWB saloon
    LWB coupe

It contains 2 F/R engine options
    Inline 4
    Inline 6

It contains one extra rear suspension option:
Live axle (Can be used with vanilla engines)
Vanilla rear suspension can be used with F/R configurations

It contains a new front suspension variant
    Steering angle tuner slider:
    0% = vanilla drift
    100% = way more lock
And also added lower control arm length adjustment

    2 Headlight options
Popups - Made by Atomix, materials refurbished by me.
Facelift standard hedlights (wider than vanilla)

Known bugs (I know of more bugs but I can't come up with them right now, if a bug doesn't literally burn your PC down, there is no need to report it)
    - Loads of missing engine components
    - Rear suspension material
    - Non complete UV maps on many body variants.
    - Incomplete Jbeam on body variants. Most notably the hatchback.
    - Intersecting badges on hatch and wagon.
    - Pre-PBR tail lights on the non standard options.
    - No glowmaps for facelift lights
    - Incomplete meshes. Wagon boot, hatch boot.

Atomix - Popup headlights from Pessima Coupe mod.
Dtroxx - Wheels for configurations. (External mod needed)

Excellent mod AX53, im enjoying every moment with it. The only problem i have with it is that the blastpipes variants on the AX53 Tuning Exhaust is missing a part of the pipe and the blastpipes themselves has no texture. Idk if this is an easy or difficult fix, just figured I'd ask. Theres absolutly no hurry fixing it however, Racing muffler works fine. Would be awesome with some fixed blastpipes though.

I guess it's a good idea to do so. I haven't checked how well they work together. And thanks :)

Oh wow the suspension geometry feels soo good! Never before has an angle kit felt quite right in beamng but this one is amazing! This pack is truly next level in terms of "out of the box" handling. Love it!

I love this mod, been drifting it around nurburgring for few days now. It's lacking a bit of power as the engine is limited to 8k rpms and 0.8 bar of boost.. But still it's so much fun. Oh and btw. It often gives me GPU errors when changing parts on it. If you could fix that gpu error on the next update I'd be so thankful.. But still I don't want stress you. Just have fun making mods! You're doing great

Amazing mod, the imperfections of it are outweighed so much by the amount of content. Keep up the great work (:

Great mod! Really :) I hope you'll do the same for the "New" Pessima, it really deserve it.
One question: should we deactivate the old AX53 Pessima Mod?

Thanks! I'm not 100% sure but I think you could theoretically run both the old and new mod together if you wanted to. You could give it a shot. All the parts have different jbeam prefix, so I don't think there would be any issues. Not sure though as I said. But worth noting is that many parts exist in both mods and would appear twice in the part list.

Hi, amazing mod and already made a default car with this, but the LWB 4 door had crashed my game upon installing the doors (i am manually installing the LWB 4 door body myself so the doors dosen't spawn in)
It gave me a GPU error so yep, there is a workaround tho that i should install the doors 1 by 1 or else it will occur a GPU error

Hopefully theres a permanent fix for this, keep it up the epic work mate!

Thank you. About the weird performance issues. I've heard other people experience similar problems. I have not noticed anything myself though. And I don't have the slightest clue how to even approach diagnosing the problem unfortunately. So I'm kind of out of ideas.

I will take a look at the doors and see if I can find something.
