Beta BRC Port Quickraces 0.2

Two point-to-point stages at the Port, and an experimental "Practice Mode".

    These races are made for use in the Beam Rally Championship, you can find our Discord server here:

    These tracks are still being developed, and there may be a few more races set at the port in future. Stage 2 also includes an extra track called "Practice Mode", which just has two checkpoints and can be finished in seconds. When the end of race screen pops up, select Freeroam to drive around the course without the pressure of racing, or just to muck around on the jumps.

    Stage 1


    A simple stage around the containers with a lot of tight corners, and maybe one straight section, depending on how fast your car is.



    We didn't exactly clean up for this, so there's a lot of junk on the track. Have fun!

    Stage 2: Portkhana


    A bunch of ludicrous stunts on the pier, exceptionally dangerous and of course therefore fun. This race is tuned for the Hirochi Sunburst Rally. Some jumps are best taken at full throttle, others require careful speed control, while a liberal application of the handbrake will help in the tight sections. Slower cars will make it, but they won't be able to clear the doubles, while faster cars will need much more care - overshooting the jumps is a very, very bad idea.

    An effort has been made to provide direction through the course as it winds & doubles back multiple times, but some course memorisation will be necessary.

    Very nice mod with a lot of attention to detail, it's a blast to play !
    The 1st scenario has a nice, natural looking layout through the port with nice interesting tight turns
    The 2nd scenario is where everything goes serious : smooth jumps calibrated perfectly with the sunburst rally, tight corners where precision drifts are required, and an intricate layout exploiting all the potential of the features witch flows great. It can be confusing some times, especially at the U-turns, but very great overall.

      Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! I've noticed a few places in Stage 2 where I could add a few arrows to help with orienting the player. Glad you liked it!
