(View of the first Activity, Asphalt Downhill Race)

bvAIDownhill is a large playground featuring fifteen different Activities designed around AI usage. All tracks on this map feature AI support and have been tested with various stock vehicles.

The map is designed to be lightweight and run on low-end machines with a good amount of AI. The amount of Forest content is minimal to ensure good rendering times, and the number of different types of trees/grass is limited on purpose. On machines with limited Memory, using the same type of vehicle is a good way to have more AI.

Tracks are detailed to give a good sense of speed and distance when performing the various Activities. Grass, neighboring trees, and asphalt/ice variations were added to provide necessary visual cues.

All Activities feature a starting grid, a checkered finish line, and a marked location to place a designated Chase Vehicle.

To ensure the AI function properly, it is best to place a Chase Vehicle in the designated zone for each Activity and use the "Chase Me" feature of the Radial Menu.
It is possible to use the "Random" option of the Radial Menu on most Activities, however note that some AI may decide to go back up the mountain.

To setup an AI race, start by spawning the Racers at the start of the Activity:

Then at the very end of the Activity, there is a marked Chase Vehicle spawn location. Place a vehicle in the specified area:

With the Chase Vehicle still selected, open the Radial Menu and go to AI->Chase Me:

    Enjoy the race!

You can reset all vehicles at the same time to re-start the race by pressing Shift-R.
If you change a Vehicle to another kind, you will need to reset the AI. To do this, navigate to the Chase Vehicle by pressing Tab and repeat the AI->Chase Me operation.

    List of events:

Asphalt downhill race with two jumps designed to cause spin-outs:

Offroad downhill race that shows off vehicle suspension (or lack of!):

River race that was designed to be raced with snorkels and functioning vehicles:

Icy hill with little traction and big smashes:

    Massive jump with landing ramp:

    Nearly vertical hillside:

    Giant stairs for endurance testing:

    Sin wave endurance sprint:

Offroad race to test vehicle control:

Small jumps over gaps for endurance testing:

Small jumps onto icy patches for spin-outs:

Mud race (great for Multiplayer, not for AI):

Long drag strip for testing setups:

Halfpipe (some boulders perhaps? best used with Random AI):

    Map overview:

    Enjoy and have fun!

    I like it.
Could you add more AI tracks for the first asphalt hill? The only mid track is working, but if I put more cars next to each other then the cars on the side starts spinning looking for a road.

great map mate, though i dont know how to use the ai for this.. when i hit random some cars stay at the top of the ramp and circle around and only 3 of 8 actually manage to come down the ramp, would love some insight on how i need to set the ai up!

I have updated the Mod description with more information about how to utilize the AI features! The "Chase Me" option is much more reliable at getting the AI to actually race down the mountain, especially on tracks such as the Icy Slope!
