    Version 1.4 change log:

    CROATIA:

    - All 1992-2016 Croatian license plates have been replaced by two separate variants: 1992-2007 plates (old font variant) and 2007-2016 plates (new font variant). Most noticeable difference between two fonts are digits 5, 6, 9 and letter S.

    - Added temporary and test plates, which are issued as stickers. They're only available as standard EU plates (52x11 cm), despite these plates being slightly smaller (approx. 49x9 cm). They are first non-embossed plates in my mod. Number format: ZG*123-45

    SLOVENIA:

    - Added standard plates with narrow font, both for 2008-current design (currently used for some personalized plates) and 2004-2008 design (which was issued also for standard plates in some regions), as separate designs. Before then, character width was automatically decreased when there were at least 8 characters, now there's be a possibility to choose the font width (narrow fonts have completely new textures, they aren't just scaled existing sprites).

    - Added a variant of 2004-2008 trailer plates with narrow font - their double-row design have an actual size 22 x 22 cm (although still 34 x 22 cm plate size needs to be selected for that purpose) with a smaller coat of arms sticker.

    AUSTRIA:

    - Higher quality of characters and coat of arms stickers. Now, their resolution will match the resolution of background, as these textures were upscaled by 2x. Also, the dimensions and placement of elements on coat of arms stickers is more accurate. In the future versions, plates of other countries will also be remade that way.

    - New variants of special license plates: since 2024, plates with wide font aren't produced anymore. Therefore, dealer, export and temporary plates, using the same font as standard plates, will be added as new plate designs. Also, in 2025 a small change was made to foreign resident temporary plates: the red field on the right side doesn't extend to the plate border, instead it fills only the internal part of the plate. Also, a pre-2000 version of export plates with green background was included.

    - Possibility to select years displayed on an expiration date sticker on export/transit plates. The example number format is W:98 ABC|12, where 12 is the first year (lowest number) displayed on a sticker - in this example, sticker will display following years: 12, 13 and 14. Their arrangement is automatically chosen, as the order in which these numbers increase had been changed in 2008 and 2016.

    - Separate plate design for vintage cars - plates for historical vehicles have different dimensions than standard plates: 46x12 cm for one-row plates and 25x20 cm (with narrow font) for rear double-row plates.
    - New size for double-row plates: 27x20 cm - it was used for standard two-line plates before 2002. Now, it's still in use for special plates (dealer, export, temporary).

    - Improved random number generator, especially for standard license plates.

    ROMANIA:

    - Upscaled font to match the resolution of background.

    - Separate design for plates issued between 2007 and 2008. Romanian license plates issued before 2008 used a different character painting method, so letters and digits look bolder. Also, letters G and S, as well as digits 7 and 8 had a slightly different design - this applies to 1992-2007 plates (with Romanian flag) too.

    - Manual customization of alternative forms of letters A, M and W - by default, wide forms are used (unless there's not enough space), now if you write these letters in lowercase, a narrow variant of them will be used. Number generators have been updated to reflect every county's preference of using these variants (for example: București and Cluj tend to use narrow variants, while Timișoara and Iași prefer regular-width letters A and M). It will be also possible to use a rare wide version of the letter W.

    - Possibility to add small fixed-width space in a selected place by using the slash "/" symbol between characters - it can be used for better customization of character placement, as on some license plates character spacing is a bit different than usual.

    - It's now possible to place technical inspection stickers on plates, in a very similar way to German plates. Stickers from years between 1993 and 2030 are supported. They aren't placed by default, you need to use a switch with a letter - uppercase to place stickers on front plate only or lowercase if you want to have them on both front and rear plates (this applies to letters A-T, as according to table below, letters U-Z and symbols can be used to put a sticker on rear plate only) - select "Rear EU License Plate (CZ, D, H, SK)" or "Rear Yellow EU License Plate" for it to work correctly. If digits are also used in a switch, letter goes before digits. They work the same way as for German plates - month and year depend on time when the plate was generated - 1 second is equivalent to 1 month. Stickers cycle through all colors in 5 years - it takes 60 seconds for the same month/year combination to appear again. A set of stickers can be chosen used for generation of plates will be based on a letter that you chose as a switch (after the pipe "|" symbol at the end of the number in "License plate" field).

    - You can also use the above-mentioned switch to add features like horizontal lines for stickers (that were in use until 1996) and a barcode (used since 2025). The full list of letters can be viewed on the image below.

    - Added 2 variants of military plates (with number format A-12345): current variant that has full-white background without EU band and a circled place for sticker above the dash, and previous variant with Romanian flag and post-2008 font (this combination wasn't used for regular plates). Also, you can recreate older military plates by using a number in format "A-12345" when selecting "Romania 1977-1988 Plate Design" - in this case there will be a dash with a circle (sticker spot) above.

    - Added a transitional variant of plates issued in some counties (București & Brașov) in 1992 - they used a standard EU size (52x11) and DIN 1451 font, but with old number system (1-B-23456).

    GERMANY:

    - Improved quality of font and stickers, both on DIN 1451 and FE-Schrift plates to match the resolution of background

    - Added 38 x 11 cm license plates, they are designed to support 4 characters in Mittelschrift or 5 characters in Engschrift. Support for them has been included in all cars.

    - Added more customization options for export license plates:
    - 1995-2000 plates: Old-style, shorter hyphen (as used on DIN plates): use the letter A as a switch, e.g. D:1234 E|A1295
    - 1995-2000 plates: No hyphen: use the letter B as a switch, e.g. D:1234 E|B1299
    - 2000-now plates: Hyphen between area code and serial number (used on some plates issued in 2000-2002): use the letter A as a switch, e.g. D:1234 E|A030201
    - 2000-now plates: Full-length red strip on 2-row plates - from top to bottom, not only on upper half (used on some plates from 2000-2003): use the letter B as a switch, e.g. D:1234 E|B040302

    - Added more customization options for 1994-1995 transitional design of license plates. It's possible to use this switch together with a technical inspection sticker selection - digit goes before the letter
    - No dash, old design of EU strip: use the digit 1 as a switch, e.g. C:EF 1234|1
    - Dash, new design of EU strip: use the digit 2 as a switch, e.g. C:EF 1234|2
    - No dash, new design of EU strip: use the digit 3 as a switch, e.g. C:EF 1234|3

    - Added a possibility to change a years displayed on technical inspection stickers - by default it's 2026-2031, but you can choose out of 8 sets. Also, it's possible to optionally display a hexagonal emission control sticker on the front plate. The list of letters that can be used can be found in the picture below. For seasonal and interchangeable plates, letter is placed before digits. For DIN 1451 plates, you can use a lowercase letter to use Engschrift digits. Examples:
    - B:CD 123|B0310 - seasonal plate valid from March to October with a sticker from years 2020-2025
    - C:EF 234|C3 - interchangeable plate with a digit 3 on the right side and a sticker from years 2014-1029
    - D:ef 456|k - DIN 1451 plate with all Engschrift characters aside of area code, with stickers from years 1996-2001 on both front and rear plate

    - Increased a number of cities/districts that can appear on seals (these stickers are chosen automatically based on area code):
    - For DIN 1451 plates, 36 new stickers were added for cities above 150.000 inhabitants
    - For FE-Schrift plates, additions include 130 new stickers - for all districts above 240.000 inhabitants and for cities above 80.000 inhabitants
