The Official Club P Racing Pack
This mod adds configurations of racecars built to run side by side for every car in the game. Each car was built, tuned, and tested by me in order to keep consistent results. They were designed to be driven on wheel, so some cars have a slight advantage or disadvantage when driving on a controller.
Some key notes:
All cars are driven, tuned, and timed by me, which takes into consideration my driving style and flaws. I do not claim to be a great driver, but as the builder of the cars, I felt it was my responsibility to be the sole tester of these cars. My rule was that each lap time was a great lap, but not a perfect one. It's not realistic that every lap in a race is done perfectly, so lap times were done with a moderate level of risk. The lap times listed are also between X:XX.00 and X:XX.99, so there is a second of play between an acceptable validated laptime.
What you get:
5 classes of vehicles
Over 70 cars and trucks to compete with
Open Series:
This class is the starter pack of racing. Slower, easy to handle, and tight side-by-side action. These cars were designed to do a 2:05 on the West Coast Race Track. This class has the most diversity in cars, as just about every car in the game is featured here. Cars range from 100 to 300 horsepower (with some exceptions). Each car has 20 Miles (32.2 kilometers) of fuel in the tank, calculated based on their validated lap.
Select Series:
Here is your second level of racing in this pack. Cars range around 300-650 (with some exceptions) and were tested to do a 1:52 around the West Coast Race Track. This group has less diversity than the open series, but still has a decent amount of variety, and will test your average driver. Each car has 20 Miles (32.2 kilometers) of fuel in the tank, calculated based on their validated lap.
Premier Series:
Here is where the highest level of driving skill is needed. These cars are the fastest of the bunch and need excellent throttle control and patience to run fast. They run a 1:47 around the West Coast race Track, and can range from 600 to 1000+ horsepower. This group has the smallest number of cars among the three main packs, but still offers some drive style variance at the top level of racing. Each car has 20 Miles (32.2 kilometers) of fuel in the tank, calculated based on their validated lap.
Industrial Series:
This group of LARGE vehicles will have you racing in semis, buses, and moving trucks. These cars may not handle the track as well as the rest of them, but still offer a good time. The testing for these cars was a little more relaxed compared to the rest due to the part options just not being available (ESPECIALLY FOR THE DUMP TRUCK) so keep that in mind when racing these.
Trophy Series:
The Trophy Truck Series comes with cars and trucks fit to handle the big jumps. Tested on Johnson Valley's Trophy Track, these high flyers can handle the bumps and still jostle for position. Each vehicle has 20 liters of fuel.
