Conquistador Gorge (the literally BIG UPDATE) 6/27/2017 (2)

A brutal arctic rally course inspired by the MotorStorm and FlatOut series.

  1. The Festival Has Arrived

    DuneWulff
Still needs fixing, finished, mostly finished
    • Added significantly more track subsections
    • tweaked map scale (map is now slightly smaller but taller overall)
    • AI pathing is 75% reliable (they rarely get themselves turned around still...)
    • Environment is fully complete
    • Added custom MotorStorm-inspired car configs for:
    1. ETK i
    2. Burnside
    3. D-series
    4. Covet
    • Tweaked sound effects
    • Removed ~25% of unneeded files (.zip was originally 521mb ;)) (still needs further downsizing w/ some file changes)
    • Smoothed roadways where needed
    • Added track signage
    • Fixed main ocean density
    • Tweaked various river densities and flow directions
    • Tweaked other ponds n' such
    • fixed snow texture - now acts like mud
    • Added CONQUISTADOR GORGE banners
    • Environment objects which slow down/otherwise affect vehicles
    • added various objects to make map feel "alive"
    • larger vehicles can now go through deep water sections where smaller cars can't
    • smaller, faster vehicles also have new route options available - particularly uphill track sections
    • added pretty custom scenery objects
    • day/night scale compatibility (works, but is slightly ugly)
    • custom skybox (may not even do this)
    • looped AI pathing for laps
    • AI support - almost all cars go around the track with decent pacing, although slower vehicles such as beater Covet/T-series/etc don't perform well on any routes. Rally cars, racing trucks, and the like perform great! Racing the AI now actually is possible. :)
