Crusader Fantome V8 1.51

An LMP car that I just threw together.

  1. "Whoopsie, broke some stuff" Update: 1.5

    CorndogCrusader
Uh oh. Issues! I've noticed them. Time to fix:

    - Reduced the RPM limit from 10000 to 8000, because Automation decided that the engine shouldn't be allowed to take 10000 RPM anymore.
    - Added TC to make it much, much more controllable.
    - Massively reduced the width of the front tires to prevent it from terminally oversteering.
    - Changed the wing and headlights to make it looks more aesthetically pleasing (to me), tell me how you feel about this version. :D
    - Removed two vents that are in the...
  2. Crusader Fantome V8 Update: 1.4

    Guess who's back?

Alright, so, I have updated this car, it has no performance upgrades, just cosmetic upgrades. Here are the changes:

    - New, better looking livery, because the previous one seems to have disappeared.
    - Rear bumper is back, because... reasons. No, but the reason why is because the mod I used to delete body panels no longer works, and alongside the livery issue, that screwed up too, so I built a bumper.
    - Replaced the exhausts with nicer looking ones.
    - Put some vents on the...
  3. 1.3 Update, Rework

    CorndogCrusader
So, basically what has happened was I reformatted my PC, and I didn't save the car in Automation, so I had to remake it, this is the remake. I've improved it quite a bit, though, from the last version. Here are the improvements:

    - Better Brakes. reducing the braking distance.
    - A lot, LOT less downforce, it doesn't affect the handling, but it has a much higher top speed now.
    - The missing bottom half of the rear bumper has been raised, so there's less body there.
    - I've done some weight...
  4. Phantom V8 Update 2

    CorndogCrusader
I've decided to update this again to make it more authentic. Here are the changes:

    - Removed Power Steering and Traction Control for less weight, and more realism, as Group C cars generally do not have Power Steering or Traction Control. (As far as my research goes)
    - Painted the cloth part of the roof in the correct colour, it was irritating me.
    - Reduced the width of the front tires to reduce oversteer.
    - Reduced the interior to Basic and the Safety to None to reduce weight.

  5. Phantom V8 Update

    CorndogCrusader
This is a small update to the car that I've made. This update includes:

    - An update to the body shape, removing a big chunk of the back to make it look more like a Group C car.
    - Moved the exhausts up, to complement the raised rear.
    - Added canards to the front to add more front downforce. (Not really, it's just aesthetic)
    - Added hood pins onto the rear hood where the engine is.
    - Added some cooling vents on the side (They do nothing, it's just aesthetic)
    - Added a hole in the top of where...
