Firstly, I would like to say thanks to DrowsySam for letting me use some of the code and assets from his old tow truck mod.
Another mod that's basically required if you want to tow heavy things is a Super Heavy Duty Bumper mod t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶f̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶: Its included in this mod now.
As it adds some much needed extra weight over the front end
Controls:
Page up should raise the hook up
Page down should lower the hook down
(If these don’t work firstly check that no other key binds are conflicting with them secondly try binding “hook up” and “hook down” to different keys and finally DM me if you’ve try these two steps and it hasn’t fixed it)
For the vehicles with working front tow hook couplers just lower the hook and press “L” to attach to them. Else if that doesn’t work you will have to use node grabber to attach to the vehicle in question.
What is included in this mod:
Tow Truck Up-fit (its located under Tow Hitch in the part selector). The Tow Truck Upfit is compatible with most of the in game D-Series beds(Except for the Upfits) and it is compatible with all of the in game D-Series frames.
2 basic configs.
A petrol tow truck
And a Diesel one (I know big difference right)
Also one more thing the Tow Truck Up-fit mounts directly to the frame of the D-Series.
