Weight was severely reduced with the removal of the ground effect wind tunnels and a redesigned diffuser to make more downforce with less weight. The car now weighs 644 kilograms which is about the weight of the V8 era cars of F1. Which is nice considering the ground effect cars are lethargic at a whopping 798 kilograms.
