Ui apps still show and I have to use alt+u to hide them but it's pretty inconvenient.

Is there any way to make it possible to get rid of the drift shake? its pretty annoying and is honestly difficult to drift when it looks like the effect you get when your waaaay out of bounds in a beam map.

UI Apps which are set to 'hide in interior' don't hide with this camera, good mod ignoring that

Nice mod, but sometimes the G forces is too much, just hit Nordschleife foxhole at 200+kmph and boom, sudden looking down ... so i start digging your code and after a day, i managed to merge your mod with LookAhead, and use their sensitivity slider to "adjust" the G forces.
I'm not a programmer so i have no idea how i did, just copy and paste a lot of code around.-
Author's Response
About the g-force effect being too much, I found a bug where the lower your fps is, the more extreme the g-force effect is. I have uploaded a fix and it's awaiting approval. Maybe that will help lessen the g-force effect on the Nordschleife.

Have you tried enabling the camera in Options > Camera? Once you check it you should be able to switch to it.

A bit disorienting to use, but cool :-D I wish it weren't so close to the steering wheel, but that's just what the driver camera is like, I suppose.

I was wondering how exactly could I make my game more immersive than it already is, and then I stumbled upon this.
A great concept amazingly executed -

aah yes people making the game look more realistic nice mod. Only if we can get an airbag mod when we crash (proper and working).....

Very promising concept. It improves so much the immersion. There's few issue like the UI apps not disappearing in cockpit view and also the camera raise when cornering to the right and lowers when cornering to the left, pretty weird and I have no idea if you can fix it. Im definitely gonna pay a lot of attention to this mod's development

Author's Response
Hmm. I had issues like that with the camera raising and lowering in unexpected ways while debugging the camera. I'll have to investigate.

Adds so much immersion, should be in the vanilla game. I'd love to see a feature where the camera moves slightly during shifts to simulate the driver moving to shift the gears, as well as having the camera either look backwards when the car is put into reverse? It'd be great if the camera responded more to bumps in the road, bouncing more over dirt roads and potholes, to better simulate the impacts. Also, is there any way to fully replace the original first person with this modded version, or at least disable ui elements when in it? Genuinely my favorite QOL mod in recent memory.

Author's Response
You might be able to replace the original camera by renaming the file to driver.lua, but I haven't tried that yet.
