    It would be even better if there were options like a curve limit per gear (during kickdown), and shift friction per gear (this is like a smooth, delayed gear change before shifting to the next gear—on the gear indicator it already shows the next gear, but the gearbox hasn’t actually shifted yet; this is very common in ZF transmissions).

      About the delayed gear change - i know about this and on a real car when you see the gear change on the display this is the moment it actually starts shifting, it just needs to make some calculations and adjustments before the shift is felt by the driver. This is a behavior i wanted to implement also but couldn't do it right yet. And for the curve limit during kickdown you can dm me because im not sure i understood it.
