can you add an option for the convertible body for a canvas roof that isnt lowered
also the front wheels have mooved position a bit, they are slightly lodged into the front part of the fenders

Cant guarantee that, I´m not that good at softtops or canvas roofs, but lets see, what time brings us :)

Would've made this a 5-Star Review if the front ends weren't so jagged and if the words "R-Series" weren't present on the fenders, let alone anywhere.

Also, the ETK logo at the front should be smaller, like another review may have pointed out.

      Author's Response
Yeah, that's probably subjective. I like it that way, maybe I'll add an option to remove it, if it's not already there

The overall quality is good. However, questions are listed as follows.
    1. The vague position of this car usually makes the users a little bit confused. If this is a GT or coupe version of the I-series, what happened to the rear seats? A second row space can be slightly enlarged so that rear seats can be added for emergency use. If this is a predecessor of the modern K-series coupe, the appearance is kinda weird due to the length of the butt of this car. Thus, the length of the trunk could be shortened a little to make the overall appearance more comfortable when looking from the side view, whether it is a GT or a coupe.
    2. What is wrong with the two black lines on the rear quarter windows? I can recognize that the quarter glass was based on the original I-series. But can you name a few of the cars with dividing lines on the quarter glass? It doesn't make sense in the design of a car, for no reason, in aesthetics, to cut the windows in half. It is better to delete them.
    3. Normal ETKs have Rennspecht configs and liveries. So as the R-series.
    4. I suggest that the real-world design of this car can be referred to the BMW series and the Merc SL (R129) or CE (C124). Authors can have more inspiration from these classic models.
    5. The ETK badge on the grille is way too enormous. Making it slightly larger than the original one on the I-series would be better.
    6. Looking forward to your next brand-new update!
Additionally, more powerful engines such as DOHC 5.0L V8 and 7.3L V12 can be added. The durability of the 3 original engines can be improved for more ferocious modifications in horsepower and revs, such as racing and drag versions. A luxurious interior design can be added to the Rennspecht version.

Thanks for your detailed review! To the 1st point, I can just say, that I tested a few variants out and this looked and worked quite well, so I kept it and will keep it. I might add rear seats, even though, there is not really the space for them. To the 2nd point, I'll eventually remove that line on the quarter glass. To the 3rd point, I might add skin support. To the 4th point, the car is already inspired by the Mercedes SL (R129), but I wanted to keep a bit of lore friendlyness. To the 5th point, I like the badge size and referring to some Mercedes models, which all has a similar badge size in the front (and still have), I think, it is good, how it is. And to the 6th point, I might add larger engines, but I'm not good at engine modeling, so... Uhhhh

If you want a more aggressive look, I suggest not making the front end 90 degree angle, and the headlights too big will looks weird(google translation).

      Author's Response
It's not supposed to look that aggressive, it combines elegance and style with some slight aggressive elements

I'll eventually add skin support. Not sure yet, cause that's my struggle point since I started modding

its ok, it looks kind of weird still. there are very big UV issues behind the seats (interior wheel well?) i would suggest trying to un-stretch the tail light textures, and give it a big of a lower roofline. this could be a fun little toy but right now its just a tonka i-series and just overall... odd. the grille badge is also wayy too big.

A "restyle" radiator support is in the works, as well as a redesigned rear end with smaller taillights. Step by step, I'll try to make it more distinct from the I Series :)

i personally hate giving out poor reviews but this is all around a poor quality mod, i would have been fine with just a i series coupe but as another review said, this is just a awkwardly squished i series with stretched lights and a oversized front badge, PLEASE make improvements to the design and more overall changes, this (respectfully) looks like a chinese i series

An update with a new radiator support, improved rear and maybe a new engine is already in the works. I hope you like it :)

Cool mod, I especially love the roadster!

Some of the reviews I read are saying that it's not distinct enough, so my suggestion is that you make a special edition or trim level of the car that no other car has.

Or you can go the extra mile and create a custom engine that isn't found in any other mod!

An update with design changes is in the works. It already has a new 2.0 engine, but I might create a bigger one in the future :)

The idea is amazing. I love everything about it except the taillights. I think it deserves completely different ones, something more unique. Maybe the front could also be changed a bit to make it stand out more.

It's just an I-Series weirdly squished to be a 2-door coupe, and really isn't different enough to be a separate car. I like the idea of a lore friendly Mercedes R129, but this is just poorly executed.

really really cool mod, howver, i have a few gripes with it aswell as questions, i think the headlights and the huge etk badge in the front looks really off, i also think the 2.0 liter inline 6 should instead be a 4 cyl, but thats my personal opinion and shouldnt effect my rating on the mod, my question is, will there be a convertable? i think it would look really cool on this car
