Beta Freecam Tool 1.1

A tiny tool that toggles the free camera, with a few extra features!

    Here's a compact tool that I made in a few hours. You can click the button to toggle between the free camera and the game camera. Also, you can change the camera movement speed, movement mode, and rotation mode. Really great for sweeping cinematic footage!

    Setup
    1. Load a level, then press Esc
    2. Click on Customize UI Apps in the side menu
    3. Click on the + icon to add an app
    4. Find Freecam Tool and select it
    5. Click on the check mark or press Esc to continue
    Tips
    • Click on the big button to toggle the main camera mode
    • Use the right mouse button to rotate the free camera
    • Use the W A S D keys to move the free camera
    • Hold down the Left Shift key to enable super speed while moving the camera
    • You can turn on Smooth Movement and Smooth Rotation for a smooth camera experience
    • Press Alt + U to toggle the UI if you want to record a video or something with the smooth camera mode

    I've been looking for a smooth cam option for ages, but this doesn't seem to work. Nothing changes when it switches from game camera to free camera (just stays in the default orbit camera), and if I Shift+C to go into freecam before clicking the button, the smooth options don't do anything. What am I missing?

    I love this mod, but in 0.24, the settings on the app always reset when I use the radial menu. Can that be fixed?

    I think this is a great and simple tool to have on hand. Any way you can make an option where the camera is stationary, but is focused on the player? Kinda like the external cam, but you choose the position!

      Thanks, that's a pretty good idea! I'll consider it. I was thinking of adding a few more features, but right now I don't have enough free time.
