The Gavril H-Series, being an accessible and simple platform, has had many an eyebrow-raising modification over the years.
However, the most curious of them all came from Gavril itself.
Behold - the H-Series "Picnic Special"

Based on the extended wheelbase H15 "Vanster", it has hydraulic-operated side hatches that enable the cargo section of the van to essentially become a small veranda.
Open the in-car refrigerator, and enjoy a glass of bubbly under the milky way! Take out the equipped cocktail kit, and serve yourself and your significant other some mojito by the beach!

Safety & comfort features included ABS, cruise control, and a roll cage.
All Picnic Specials came with the H15 Gavril 4.5L unit, on magnesium alloy wheels. Aluminium wheels were available at an additional fee.
