In 1965, the Royal Motors Auto Show at Pettysville, Floriville, Gasmea showed what the West Coast based Auto Corp had whipped up. The new Miara, Model C, T Series Trucks, Power Wagon Van, Fjord, San Vista, and many other cars were displayed. Just before the new Model C debuted with a flying jump, a BIG car was debuted. The second gen Bruiser.
The Second Gen Bruiser first came out with a small inline 4 cranking out just over 131 BHP and was hardly faster than 100 mph and a 0 to 60 mph in almost 20 seconds. IRA was a different organization back in the 60's. Then in 1965, IARO was established, and in 1966 introduced its first racing division. This allowed for Faster Cars. The new division basically permitted any car to race as long as it was sellable to the public. The new Calvinator Bruiser SS was the answer. It was powered by a 492ci V8 Bruiser Engine cranking out 467 BHP. The top speed was 167 MPH.
Then, after the MAJOR success of both the Miara R Maelstrom (sold 3.4 million by 1970) and the Model C R Warrior (sold over 60 million by 1973), CRM designs a Bruiser with the same Warrior Block. This was the 1968 CRM Bruiser R Warrior. It isn't quite as fast as the 2 pony cars, but this Mid Size Muscle Car now had a POWERFUL 532 BHP 363ci V8 Warrior pulling it to 180 MPH and a 0-60 in just 5.7 seconds. The previous SS trim got 6.4 seconds.
The Bruiser sold till 1973 when the Oil Crisis hit. In all, 25,673,821 cars were sold, 12 million of them being Warriors.
This mod Also Includes a Modified Warrior from the film series in planning "The STREETS", a parody of the Fast n the Furious.
