    Hello all, thank you so much for your patience, feedback, reviews, and for almost 50k downloads. Its been almost a month and a half since I last updated this mod, but make no mistake, I have been working on content in my free time since the last update and this update brings a raised bar in quality and features.

    Details:


    Housekeeping:
    An important structural change has been implemented with this update. I have split the turbo kits into dedicated kits for their respective vehicles. Functionally, they are unchanged, but this change allows me to more easily create and maintain specific models for each engine in each platform. This bypasses the common folder structure that the new ETKs come with which is good for file size but is a headache for creation and maintenance of models and such. As a result, you will have to re-install both the HMT Pure 790 and HMT Pure 860 on your configs. I apologize for the inconvenience and I will do my best to make sure I don't have to do this again.

    Also File name has changed accidentally, so make sure you delete the old version before installing this version, thanks.

      • also redid block off/bypass plate where the stock intake box used to connect to the engine cover/ secondary airbox with a cleaner model and torx bit installation hardware

    • Improved Shiftlogic
      • I think I finally perfected this. Has its glitchy moments still but is worlds better and more realistic than vanilla (which is not a slight at the developers in any way shape or form, they have plenty on their hands and don’t have the time that the modding community does to perfect things like this that take a considerable amount time, effort, trial, and error)
      • Much less tendency to skip 2nd gear now
      • Better suitable for both i6 and v8 together instead of favoring one platform. Happy medium with no compromise
      • Decreased gear whine noise because this is a luxury car and that should not be audible IMO
    • Fixed radiator fan spin
      • no longer appears choppy, now functional and visible
    Improved: "HMT Pure 860" Turbocharger Models

    • Effectively remade most of the piping
    • Improved heat shield and filter quality, placement, and fitment in each of the engine bays
    • Added heat wrap to piping between filter and turbocharger inlet.

    • K series models where particularly challenging given the space constraints of the engine bay size, engine accessories, and the narrow nature of the K series body. It took a very long time to perfect this, like probably 5 or 6 hours of trial and error over the course of the past month but it payed off as the charge pipes, intake pipes, and filters clip nothing and look absolutely incredible. Its hard to take pictures that do justice to how intricate the pipe work was on this, but just open the hood and look for yourself and you will understand.
    Improved: Enhanced Drive Modes

    • Ok this is a really small, but really impactful change and it was a pain to figure out but was ultimately really simple (of course).
    • All versions of the Enhanced Drive Modes now feature Constant Gauge Cluster Illumination.
    • Gauge cluster illumination is now tied directly to ignition state. Now the cluster will be backlit as long as the ignition state is set at "accessories" or "on"
    • This means no need to turn the headlights on to see the gauge cluster clearly in interior view.
    • Such a subtle change but it makes a significant difference.
    ADDED: HMT Titanium Exhaust Systems

    • 3 inch titanium piping with pie cuts, X-pipe (on v8), and DREID titanium valved mufflers
    • Available for V8 and I6 in ETK800 and ETK-K
    • Saves 25lbs on V8 and 16lbs on I6
    • Gains 25hp on V8 and 15hp on I6
      • compared to vanilla tt sport exhaust
      • Same gains that the straight pipe used to have. Gains slightly increased accordingly for the straight pipe to reflect lack of restriction comparatively to new titanium exhaust.
    • Different, more harmonious tone than my straight pipe
    • Makes better use of the active exhaust valves native to the modern ETK vehicles.

    ADDED: HMT DS9 ECU Piggyback Module

    • Does HMT not yet offer a full package for your ETK engine platform of choice? Or do you want more out of the vanilla ecu options? Look no further than the "DS9 Piggyback" by HMT. The DS9 Piggyback module can be installed in the "Speed Limiter Slot" on any vanilla ETK ECU and will intercept and modify signals sent from the ECU to the engine. The DS9 allows users a small bit of configurability and added power with variables for idle RPM, limiter cut time, rev limit RPM, Afterfire burble duration, and wastegate pressure. This should hold you over while we develop dedicated high quality packages for each platform.
      • Just like real life, a piggyback is no substitute for a real tune, and users must exercise caution when configuring their DS9, especially when stacking the DS9 on top of a vanilla stage tune.
      • As such, the speed limiter slot on all of Harzer Mountain Tuning's ecus has been removed entirely in order to prevent customers/users from messing with our finely tuned, highly optimized software.
