There used to be one of these ported in from Rig of Rods quite a time ago, I actually still have a copy of the old one, but the old one does not compare to this (the old mod didn't even have a textured dash board). The interior is modeled rather accurately, to how I remember them looking in the late 80s / early 90s.
This mod is definitely good quality and quite a bit of fun. While I admittedly am not the Jeep type of guy, this is a quite capable vehicle on or off the pavement. Typical under-steer and a high center of gravity will make sure to keep you on your toes, planning the next hairpin quite often. While it is no speed demon, it surely gets out of it's own way enough to do whatever it needs to do. Certainly good for more than just 'Short-cuts through the strip mall parking lot', but still as much at-home with getting up the side of a mountain, as getting groceries. However, if you get too over-confident, you will have a lot more than just spilled milk to cry over when you start rolling sideways in this vehicle. Drive with care or become part of the scenery! Deformation seems very realistic from what I have seen (and I did wreck it a few times, sometimes it was unplanned).
A harkening back to when Jeep made a really long-last rugged vehicle that could last 20~30 years if taken care of - or more. If only I could say the same about the Chrysler - Fiat plastic products today.
Took a picture (safe for work link below) of one of the models tested - as it looks right at home here.

Best get one of those cup-holder consoles from the U-Pull-It junk yards if you plan to keep it a while.

Sorry about this, I am aware that this is broken. Version 1.2 will include a fix for this.

I'm glad you like it, but I guess I didn't clarify enough lol
The 2.5TD X4 models are actually equipped with that very engine. Its equivalent brand is called MV Trazione, and Ibishu calls it the Extreme Torque TurboDiesel.

Love it. Coming from a Jeep owner myself. Fantastic mod. The description is so generic that I love it even more...

The only thing i feel it needs is the driving position seems to be set quite low compared to IRL *jeeps of that era*. And it could use some custom sounds later on :) other then that its great.
