Johnson Valley 50 1.2

A longer desert racing time trial for Johnson Valley

  1. RSWatanabe
A 30+ minute two lap desert racing mission for Johnson Valley.

    preview.png

The included 5 minute run wasn't enough to quench my thirst so I made something a bit longer. Utilizes the missions system so you can select your car and lap count if the defaults are not what you want. One lap takes around 16:30 on the TT1 and TT2 trucks. Anything starting from the Piccolina Baja should get through but you'll need to be careful not to rip your vehicle to bits on some of the sections.

You can find the mission right outside the service park or through the mission list on the map menu.

Awesome route!!! I've had so much fun learning it and trying to get faster with it while surviving the abuse. Making it back to the finish with a blown tire and limping suspension is a fun time. This is exactly what was needed for this map. I also like that I can set more laps if I want to go longer.

I'm new to BeamNG so it was a great introductory. Now I need to learn how to make Missions. I'll look around how, but if you have any suggestions of where to learn, I'd love to hear it. Thanks again for the great endurance route.

I have been fully addicted to this scenario since you put it up on here.. I thought your Italy rally scenario was hard but this is on another level

If I could make a small request though, I think a version that skips the rock section would make sense, I can't count the times I've had to restart because of bent steering, a popped tire or a burst fuel tank due to one or two of those rocks that stick up in the middle

    but overall awesome work dude

I cannot get this scenario to load. Manually download and place in mods folder - nothing. Add in-game - nothing. Why??

tbh first scenario I am trying to add, but this is the first mod I've had issue getting to load. Tried completely clearing my mods folder and only running this too. Still nothing.

It's a mission, not a scenario so you won't find it in the scenarios menu. I tried making it clear in the mod description but you'll need to start Johnson Valley in freeroam and then open the map menu to access missions.

Got 3 stars on my first try, loved the the challenge. This should be a vanilla scenario to be honest.

So fun!! I love it! I tried it in the LeGran rally car, didn’t work to well, then I tried it in my custom Autobuggy, and it worked like a charm! Nice! The Dunekicker is best for speed and exhilaration, but the Stambecco rally truck is fun too, and the Stambecco ambulance is insanely difficult. I didn’t finish in the rally car, the ambulance, or the Dunekicker (The LeGran rally car’s steering broke, the ambulance flipped over, and the Dunekicker rolled, if you’re wondering how I did them all (I didn’t. I only completed it once, in my Autobuggy)). Such a fun scenario!! Should be vanilla!
