Last to showcase in the Centaur ii model family is the sporty GT. This trim level features the same high end options from the LE as standard, but now has LTD's GT sports package. With this package/ trim level, you got stiffened springs, antiroll bars, shocks, and dampers, bigger brakes, upgraded front splitter, wider tires with sports compound rubber and 15inch alloy sport rims, a rear wing, vinyl roof top, and most importantly, the highest option engine as standard. Power comes from LTD 5.0L OHV v8 mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox and a manual locking rear-diff. With a four barrel carb, this engine is good for a respectful 152 horsepower and 220 lbs/ft of torque, making this small 70s coupe a worthy muscle car.
