This model of the Centaur ii, designated as the LE, is the fancier version of the L with more bells and whistles and a sporty driving experience. The interior is upgraded, featuring a standard AM/FM radio and cassette player, more refined interior, body color matched alloy rims exchanging the solid steel base model wheels, fog lights, and an optional sunroof. While the LE still comes standard with the 2.3L, this particular car comes with the optional 2.8L v6 mated to a 4 speed automatic. With over head cams and a four barrel carb, this engine is good for a respectful 107 horsepower and gives the light 2433lb coupe much improved acceleration. With the v6 option comes with slight larger versions of the base model brakes to keep the added power in check.
